According to reports, the former Alabama running back is expected to get over $500K through the transfer portal.
Some well-known athletes are still searching for their next destination as the first college football transfer portal session draws to a close.
Justice Haynes, a running back for Alabama, is one of them. Once a five-star prospect, the Crimson Tide running back rushed for 616 yards and nine touchdowns in Tuscaloosa over the previous two seasons.
Haynes had previously been connected to both Michigan and Ohio State, but according to the most recent information provided by Pete Nakos ($) of On3, Ole Miss is directly behind Michigan and South Carolina.
Nakos also provided a significant update on Haynes, stating that the former Alabama running back might be able to secure $500,000 through the gateway.
“Sources tell On3 that the running back is expected to command over $500,000 in the transfer portal,” Nakos stated.
According to On3, Haynes is currently valued at $397,000. Therefore, it would be significant if the former Crimson Tide ball carrier were to receive half a million dollars.
According to rumors, Duke quarterback Darian Mensah will receive $8 million over two years as part of the NIL accords surrounding college football.
As NIL has changed, players are looking for better NIL packages in order to gain certain advantages, in addition to additional playing possibilities.
No matter where he ends up, Haynes is a well-known figure to watch in the future and might get a hefty salary.
