‘At this moment’: Chris Sutton shares who he thinks will win the league – Celtic or Rangers
As usual, the Scottish Premiership title race is between two clubs – Celtic and Glasgow Rangers.
Philippe Clement and Brendan Rodgers will both be desperate to win the league this year.
Ibrox or Celtic Park, where will the title end up?
The two Old Firm clubs are set to go head to head for the title once again, and this could be the closest fought battle in years.
The two clubs are within two points of each other at the moment, and with Rangers in such fantastic form, Celtic have some catching up to do.
Speaking on BBC 606, Chris Sutton has been discussing the title race over in Scotland.
As many will know, Sutton usually carries a lot of Celtic bias with him. However, on this occasion, he has admitted that Rangers look like they will go on to win the league this time.
Chris Sutton tips Rangers for the title
The pundit shared how he thinks the title race will go.
“Do I think? I think it’s Rangers’ to lose. At this moment time it looks like it’s over. Rangers fans think it’s done. At this moment in time they are favourites. They’re ahead at the moment aren’t they,” Sutton said.
Close
It’s way too early to call this one either way.
Two points is such a small gap, and, as ever, this title race will probably be decided by how that crucial game between these two teams towards the end of the season goes.
Of course, both teams have been a class above this season, but Rangers seem to have just found another gear as of late, and that has put them in the box seat.
This could be a title race for the ages, and it will be exciting to see how this one pans out.
