BMD Cowboys team list: Round 6 v Eels
North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Head Coach Todd Payten has recalled utility Tom Chester to replace injured right centre Zac Laybutt for Saturday’s battle with the Parramatta Eels at Commbank Stadium.
Laybutt suffered a torn ACL in Sunday’s victory over the Titans, which will cause him to miss the remainder of the 2024 season.
Chester deputised for Laybutt in the Round 3 victory over the Dragons and turned in an impressive performance.
The remainder of Payten’s 17 remains unchanged for the clash against the Eels.
Cowboys fullback Scott Drinkwater will celebrate his 100th NRL game on Saturday evening. It will be a fortnight to remember for Drinkwater, who will also make his 100th Cowboys appearance in Round 7.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 5.30pm.
