Flagg and Duke’s men’s basketball team get ready for a busy week
Next, the Blue Devils will play Georgia Tech, which is an ACC team.
The Duke University men’s basketball team beat Incarnate Word 72–46 to win their fourth straight game. This week, they will play George Mason and Georgia Tech.
Here is a look at what Cooper Flagg and the Blue Devils have done in the past and what they have planned for the future:
Last week
The Cardinals were blown out by the Blue Devils in their only game last week, which was in the Southland Conference. Newport resident Flagg scored six points on just two of eight shots, but he grabbed eight rebounds, which was the most on the team, in 22 minutes.
Flagg has scored 15.9 points per game, assisted 3.6 times, blocked 1.4 shots, and made 42.9 percent of his field goals so far in 10 games for Duke.
The coming week
Tuesday: George Mason is the opponent.
It’s 7 p.m.
ACC Network on TV
The Patriots are 7-3 this season, but their only loss was to Marquette, 82–63, on November 8. That was their only game against a top-25 team. His average is 14.9 points per game, which is more than any other player on the team. Jalen Haynes (11.6), Giovanni Emejuru (10.4), and Brayden O’Connor (10.1) are also in double figures.
SATURDAY: At Georgia Tech, our opponent
Noon TV: ACC Network
Notable: Georgia Tech used to have a strong team, but since 2010, they have only been to the NCAA playoffs once, in 2021. The Yellow Jackets (4-6) have lost their first three games this season, which is not a good start. Lance Terry scores 15.6 points per game, which is the most on the team. Baye Ndongo scores 12.5 points per game and grabs 7.6 rebounds per game, which is also the most on the team.
