FOX announcer found the appropriate term to finish off Jayden Daniels and Commanders’ dramatic comeback triumph.

The Washington Commanders defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 36-33, despite five turnovers. It was an unexpected and exhilarating victory for the youthful Commanders, who remain in contention for the NFC East lead while also solidifying their position in the conference postseason picture.

The game-winning touchdown was the highlight of Washington’s day. Rookie star Jayden Daniels led the offense on a nine-play, 57-yard drive in the closing two minutes to score the game-winning touchdown. He accomplished this by finding Jamison Crowder in the end zone with only six seconds remaining. As Northwest Field went crazy for the home team, FOX NFL commentator Joe Davis had the ideal phrase to sum up the whirlwind victory: “Preposterous!”.

The Eagles’ loss of Jalen Hurts to a concussion in the first quarter may cause some to overlook Washington’s victory. However, for a club that is ahead of schedule in terms of postseason contention, a win is a win no matter how ugly it is or how heavily the odds are stacked in their favor.

A wonderful conclusion to an intense contest.
