Henrik Larsson Targets Major New Venture in English Football
Henrik Larsson, a name synonymous with Celtic folklore, is making headlines again, but this time off the pitch.
The Swedish football icon is part of an exciting new venture, teaming up with a Dutch trio that includes football greats Dennis Bergkamp, Dirk Kurt, and Ronald Koeman.
Their goal? To take over an English club, setting their sights on either a League One or League Two team. The ambition here is clear: they’re looking to shape a club in their own image, with Larsson poised to take the helm as Head Coach.
It’s a role Larsson is familiar with, albeit in Sweden, marking a new chapter in his career in football. The move comes after an attempt to acquire EFL side Southend fell through, leading Larsson to a stint assisting Koeman at Barcelona.
Despite being linked to the Sweden International coaching job, Larsson chose a different path, indicating his unique vision for his future in football.
Reflecting on Larsson’s legendary status at Celtic, where he netted 242 goals and spearheaded the modern day Celtic.
Known for his remarkable ability to outjump central defenders and a burst of speed that left many trailing, Larsson’s goal-scoring prowess was unmatched.
Henrik will be forever synonymous with Celtic football club.
