Although Rangers have finished their business for the season in terms of new players, not all European leagues followed Scotland’s lead and closed their doors on Monday night.

Up until Thursday, Austrian Bundesliga clubs are still able to recruit new players. There is still plenty of time remaining in the transfer windows for Croatia, Switzerland, Hungary, and Romania, respectively.

Furthermore, the deadline for the Turkish window is not expected to arrive until February 11th. Even though Ridvan Yilmaz downplayed rumours that he will be returning to Turkey this week, it seems his remarks haven’t made it to the domestic press yet.

Because even though Yilmaz has maintained that he has always wanted to remain at Rangers, his name is still being floated in gossip columns as Besiktas, Fenerbahce, and Trabzonspor all intensify their efforts to acquire a left-sided full-back before Tuesday’s games end.
