Terron Armstead Inducted into Senior Bowl Hall of Fame Class of 2025
New Orleans, LA – March 6, 2025 – Former New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Terron Armstead has been selected for induction into the prestigious Senior Bowl Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. The honor recognizes Armstead’s outstanding collegiate and professional career, marking another milestone in his football journey.
A Standout Journey from Arkansas-Pine Bluff to the NFL
Armstead’s rise to prominence began at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, where he established himself as a dominant force on the offensive line. His athleticism, technique, and leadership set him apart, leading to an invitation to the Senior Bowl, the premier showcase for college football’s top talent. His impressive performance at the event, combined with a record-setting 4.71-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine, helped solidify his status as a top prospect.
The New Orleans Saints selected Armstead in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft (No. 75 overall), making him one of the most successful small-school prospects of his era.
Success in the NFL
During his time in New Orleans, Armstead became one of the league’s premier left tackles. His nine-year tenure (2013-2021) with the Saints saw him develop into a three-time Pro Bowler and a key figure in the team’s offensive success. Protecting quarterback Drew Brees and later Jameis Winston, Armstead anchored one of the NFL’s most efficient offensive lines.
After leaving the Saints, he continued his career with the Miami Dolphins, where he maintained a high level of play and provided leadership to a young offensive line.
A Well-Deserved Honor
The Senior Bowl Hall of Fame recognizes players who have excelled at both the college and professional levels, and Armstead’s inclusion is a testament to his impact on the game. His combination of athleticism, durability, and leadership has left a lasting legacy.
The official Senior Bowl Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place later in 2025, celebrating Armstead’s contributions alongside other distinguished inductees.
For Saints fans, Armstead’s recognition serves as a reminder of the elite talent that graced the offensive line in New Orleans for nearly a decade. His journey from Arkansas-Pine Bluff to the NFL and now to the Hall of Fame is a story of perseverance, skill, and excellence.
