The University of Alabama has added another major piece to its 2024 recruiting class with the signing of four-star EDGE rusher Justin Hill
The University of Alabama has secured a significant addition to its 2025 recruiting class with the signing of four-star edge rusher Justin Hill. Hailing from Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, Hill is recognized as one of the premier defensive talents in his class.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 220 pounds, Hill’s athleticism and on-field performance have garnered national attention. In his junior year, he recorded 36 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, and two fumble recoveries, showcasing his disruptive presence on the defensive line.
Hill initially committed to Alabama in July 2024, shortly after an official visit to the Tuscaloosa campus. Despite receiving continued interest from other top programs, including Ohio State, Oregon, and USC, he reaffirmed his commitment to the Crimson Tide in late November, stating, “Bama Family, I’m Home!!! No Questions Asked.”
His recruitment was primarily led by Alabama’s outside linebackers coach, Christian Robinson, who played a pivotal role in securing Hill’s commitment. Hill’s decision to join Alabama reflects the program’s sustained appeal and its ability to attract elite talent nationwide, even amidst coaching transitions.
The addition of Hill bolsters Alabama’s defensive lineup, adding depth and versatility to the edge rusher position. His signing contributes to Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class, which is currently ranked No. 2 nationally by 247Sports. This class includes other notable commitments such as quarterback Keelon Russell and offensive lineman Michael Carroll, indicating a well-rounded and robust group poised to make an immediate impact.
As Alabama continues to build its roster for the upcoming seasons, the inclusion of high-caliber players like Justin Hill underscores the program’s commitment to maintaining its status as a powerhouse in college football. Fans and analysts alike eagerly anticipate the contributions of Hill and his fellow recruits as they prepare to don the Crimson Tide uniform.
