Rangers will be ready to go back into the transfer market in January when they are called upon.

Today is the first day of Nils Koppen’s first year as head of recruitment at Ibrox. He talked about the club’s move goals this week.

There are already a lot of names going around about a young South American player that Rangers and a number of Premier League clubs are interested in.

Rangers tied to South American star player

Rangers fans who don’t follow Danish football probably won’t know much about Dario Osorio, a Chilean winger.

But the right winger, who is 20 years old, is making a lot of noise in Scandinavia with FC Midtjylland of the Superliga.

In recent years, Danish football has been a good place for South American players to learn and grow. For example, Evander, who was tied to the Rangers, went on to do great things in the MLS.

Rangers have also looked at this market before. The addition of Mohamed Diomande from FC Nordsjaelland is a great example of how the Gers are changing the way they trade and move players.

It’s not a surprise that Rangers are highly linked with another move into the division; TBR Football says that Dario Osorio “admires” the Gers.

Most people are talking about Newcastle United, but Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Wolves, and even Celtic, who play against Newcastle United, are also said to be interested.

France and Spain are also said to be interested in Dario Osorio. Who is he, and what could the winger bring to Rangers?

Someone named Dario Osorio has been linked to the Rangers. Who is he?

The Chilean winger Dario Osorio, who is 20 years old, has become a huge star at FC Midtjylland.

The shooter started his career in his home country of Chile. He finally made it big at Universidad de Chile, where he played 51 games and scored 11 goals as a youngster.

Midtjylland was interested in Osorio because of his play, and stories say they paid €5.2m (£4.3m) to sign him to a five-year deal last summer.

The young Chilean attacker has gotten stronger since then.

Some of the best football teams in Europe are interested in Osorio after seeing him score against Hoffenheim in the Europa League this season. He scored nine goals for Midtjylland last season.

It was claimed by En Cancha that Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, and Real Sociedad sent scouts to Midtjylland, the player’s home country.

Real Madrid and Liverpool have also been linked, and Anfield is said to have already had a €10 million (£8.4 million) bid turned down this year.

It’s no surprise that the kid has already played 13 times for Chile and scored a goal. He even started two of the country’s three Copa America games this summer, which was a letdown.

The winger’s style of play has been compared to that of Angel di Maria, a legendary player from Argentina.

There has been talk that Rangers’ interest in Dario Osorio is a bit over the top, since some of the best football teams in Europe are also interested in him.

It is also said that FC Midtjylland wants a club record fee for the skilled Chilean.

Crystal Palace paid £9 million for Alexander Sorloth in 2018 and Lazio paid €12 million (£10 million) for Gustav Isaksen in 2023. This would be more than double those amounts.
