GOAT – Rio Ferdinand reacts as Cristiano Ronaldo scores brace in Champions League 5 hours ago Daily Post Nigeria
Rio Ferdinand, a former defender for Manchester United, responded to Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace goals in Al-Nassr’s 3-1 victory over Al-Gharafa in Monday’s AFC Champions League Elite.
In addition, Ronaldo scored the lone goal for his team during their 2-1 Saudi Pro League loss to Al-Qadisiyah at home over the weekend.
The 39-year-old scored in the 46th minute after the first half at Al-Bayt Stadium ended without a goal, and 12 minutes later, Angelo Gabriel gave the visitors a two-goal lead.
After Ronaldo finished his brace in the 64th minute, Al-Gharafa’s goal was reclaimed by Joselu (75′).
But Stefano Pioli’s team went back to winning ways, so it was too little, too late for the hosts.
Ferdinand just commented with a “GOAT” emoji after Al-Nassr shared a photo of their captain celebrating one of his goals.
