Kentucky Basketball offers top five prospect Alijah Arenas, the son of Gilbert Arenas
Jason Marcum has reported about the Cincinnati Bengals for Cincy Jungle since 2014 and the University of Kentucky for A Sea Of Blue since 2015.
Mark Pope has extended a scholarship offer for 2026 as the Kentucky Wildcats near the end of their 2025 recruiting class.
According to KSR’s Jacob Polacheck, Kentucky has extended an offer to 5-star shooting guard Alijah Arenas. He is the son of former NBA great Gilbert Arenas.
Arenas, who is 6-foot-4 and weighs 180 pounds, plays for Chatsworth High School in California. He is ranked third overall in 2026 by On3, fifth by 247 Sports, and fourth by ESPN and Rivals.
Arenas has been discussed as a reclass possibility, so he may be someone Kentucky considers for the 2025 class. He has received more scholarship offers from Alabama, Arizona, UCLA, Texas, Kansas, and Ole Miss, among others.
