New rankings for 2025 put two Duke basketball signees lower than the rest of the industry

There are still four of the top 25 high school seniors in the country in Duke’s basketball recruiting class.

On3 is the most recent company to add its 2025 rankings. And while the site rates one of third-year Duke basketball coach Jon Scheyer’s four early 2025 signees higher than the player’s ranking on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, On3 doesn’t rate two of the future Blue Devils as highly.

Shelton Henderson, a forward from Bellaire High School in Texas, is ranked No. 36 overall in the new On3 rankings, which is 16 spots lower than his previous ranking. The five-star prospect with the most points doesn’t get five stars from On3. He is also the only 2025 Blue Devil recruit who wasn’t invited to the McDonald’s All-American Game.

Also, Columbus High School (Fla.) guard Cayden Boozer is only an On3 four-star and ranks No. 28 overall, three spots lower than his composite.

On the other hand, On3 still rates Cayden Boozer’s twin brother, Columbus five-star forward Cameron Boozer, as highly as his overall ranking of No. 2 among his peers. Boozer is Duke’s highest-ranked pick.

Nik Khamenia, a five-star forward from Harvard-Westlake School (Calif.), is ranked No. 16 overall on On3. He is the other highly-touted Duke basketball prospect this cycle. That is seven spots higher than his overall ranking.

Of course, it’s important to note that Highland School (Va.) five-star forward Nate Ament is the only Blue Devil target who hasn’t decided yet. On3, he is now ranked third, but on 247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN, he is still ranked fourth.

Duke already has the best collection by a wide margin.
