Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts creates NFL history with an all-female management team
(Grey News) – Jalen Hurts, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, will be remembered not only for winning Super Bowl LIX, but also for being the only player in NFL history with an all-female management team.
His five-person team consists entirely of women: his agent, manager, marketing manager, and two communications staffers. Three of them are women of colour.
In an interview with the NFL, Hurts described his management team as his “secret weapon.”

“You know, having an all-female team has helped me see things from a different perspective. You know, I think it’s been a real boost – kind of a secret weapon, if you will – to have that point of view in my back pocket and be able to use it in the decisions that I make,” Hurts said.
In another interview, the star quarterback stated that his hiring decisions came “very organically” and that he was “just seeking out the best, and that’s how it happened.”
Hurts’ agent, Nicole Lynn, secured him a record-breaking five-year NFL contract worth $255 million with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Lynn told Sports Illustrated in 2022 that she messaged Hurts on Instagram in 2020, asking if he had already chosen an agent for the NFL draft. To her surprise, he replied, and the rest is history.
In the same 2022 Sports Illustrated report, Hurts stated that he knows many women who work hard for what they want every day, but “they don’t get the same praise as men — they don’t get the praise that they deserve.”
Hurts, 26, led the Eagles to victory in the Super Bowl on Sunday, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.
Hurts also won Super Bowl MVP.
