On the final episode of the 27th season of The Voice, the USA alpine skiing sensation joined Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini for a ski workout and an acoustic guitar performance.

Mikaela Shiffrin impressed award-winning artists Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini with her vocal abilities during her performance on the 27th season of The Voice.

The two-time Olympic champion joyfully agreed to trade an indoor skiing lesson for a voice coaching session with the two reality show coaches, only to be left with the impression that the arrangement was not entirely fair.

Bublé and Ballerini struggled with Shiffrin’s ski-themed gym and Esports training, getting tangled in elastic bands and stumbling over cones. Despite appearing apprehensive in front of The Voice coaches and holding an acoustic guitar, the athlete performed admirably in her singing test.

“It’s intimidating,” Shiffrin confessed as Ballerini attempted to reassure her.

“You have nothing to be nervous about,” the country music star stated.

Before singing Anna Nalick’s 2004 song “Breathe (2 AM),” Shiffrin took a deep breath and relaxed, as instructed by Bublé.

Bublé and Ballerini exchanged astonished eyes within the first few sentences before remaining silent. Shiffrin kept her eyes closed for the most of the song, unsure of their reaction, and when she finished singing, tentatively said, “So, how did I do?”

“I should work harder on my skiing,” Bublé replied, embarrassed. “We could be better.”

“You’re perfect,” Ballerini said before they both left the room in defeat.

“I feel like that wasn’t a good trade-off,” Shiffrin quipped at the end of the duel.
