Hull City are reportedly tracking young Karşıyaka SK forward Adem Yeşilyurt as they look to strengthen their attacking options for the future.

Turkish journalist Ersin Albayrak has claimed that the Championship side are among several clubs closely monitoring the 18-year-old’s situation. Writing on X, formerly Twitter, Albayrak stressed that the information comes directly from his own sources.

According to the report, Hull City are showing “very serious interest” in Yeşilyurt, alongside Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor. The competition does not stop there, with Beşiktaş also said to have made enquiries regarding the teenager’s availability.

It remains unclear whether Beşiktaş contacted Yeşilyurt’s representatives, Karşıyaka directly, or both. However, their involvement further highlights the growing attention surrounding the young attacker.

While Albayrak did not provide extensive detail on Hull City’s pursuit, the Tigers are understood to be firmly in the race with several major Turkish clubs to secure Yeşilyurt’s signature. The level of interest suggests the forward is being viewed as a promising long-term prospect rather than an immediate squad addition.

Yeşilyurt is a product of Karşıyaka’s youth academy and was promoted to the club’s senior squad in July. Despite playing for a fourth-tier Turkish side, he has already made an impact at senior level. In nine appearances so far, the teenager has registered one goal and two assists, performances that have evidently caught the attention of scouts.

Hull City’s current transfer situation complicates any potential move. The club are unable to register new players during the upcoming winter window due to a transfer ban. As a result, any deal for Yeşilyurt would likely require a creative approach.

One possible solution would be for Hull City to reach an agreement now, allowing Yeşilyurt to remain with Karşıyaka for the rest of the season before officially joining the Tigers next summer when the ban is lifted. Such an arrangement would enable Hull to get ahead of domestic rivals without breaching restrictions.

The Tigers’ interest in Yeşilyurt also comes amid potential changes to their attacking options. Earlier this month, journalist Reşat Can Özbudak reported that David Akintola could be on the move during the winter transfer window, which may increase Hull’s desire to plan ahead for next season.

With multiple clubs circling and Hull City unable to act immediately, the battle for Yeşilyurt’s signature could intensify in the coming months. Whether the English side can outmanoeuvre established Turkish giants will depend on their willingness to plan long-term — and their ability to convince the young forward that his future lies in the Championship.
