Cameron Brink Open to Playboy Shoot — With Fiancé’s Blessing
Cameron Brink has revealed she would be open to posing for Playboy in the future, though any potential appearance would depend on one very important factor — whether her fiancé is comfortable with the idea.
The Los Angeles Sparks standout spoke candidly to TMZ Sports about the possibility, making it clear that while she is not ruling anything out, the final decision would involve her partner, Ben Felter. Brink’s comments come after fellow professional basketball player Kysre Gondrezick made headlines last year by becoming Playboy’s Miss June, marking a significant moment for women’s basketball representation beyond the court.
Gondrezick’s appearance made her the first active professional basketball player to be named a Playboy Playmate, and her shoot quickly sparked conversations across the sports world. With that precedent set, speculation has naturally turned to whether another WNBA player could follow in her footsteps — and Brink’s name has emerged as a logical candidate.
Brink, a highly visible figure both on and off the court, has experience in the modeling space and has previously expressed comfort in front of the camera. In earlier interviews, she had even shared interest in participating in ESPN The Magazine’s now-discontinued “Body Issue,” which focused on athletes and body positivity. That background has only fueled curiosity about whether a Playboy collaboration could happen down the line.
During her appearance on “Straight to Cam” alongside Sydel Curry-Lee, Brink addressed the topic directly. She acknowledged that she is not opposed to the idea in principle, noting that she has already taken part in projects that required a high level of vulnerability and confidence. Brink recalled that during a previous shoot for the publication “PLAYERS,” she posed without clothing, describing the experience as comfortable due to the environment and the people involved in the production.
Despite her openness, Brink emphasized that any future decisions of that nature would be made with careful consideration. When asked specifically about Playboy, she laughed and said it was a possibility — but only if her fiancé gave his approval. According to Brink, Felter’s opinion plays a major role in how she approaches opportunities that extend beyond basketball.
She also took time to praise Gondrezick for her Playboy feature, saying her friend looked “absolutely beautiful” and expressing support for the path she chose. Brink’s comments reflected a sense of admiration rather than competition, underscoring the mutual respect shared between athletes navigating visibility, branding, and personal choice in the public eye.
While discussions about modeling opportunities have captured attention, Brink also opened up about her personal life, particularly her upcoming wedding. She shared that wedding planning is currently underway and described the experience as exciting, even amid the usual challenges that come with organizing such a major life event. For Brink, the most meaningful part of the process is the opportunity to marry someone she deeply loves.
Her remarks offered a glimpse into how she balances a high-profile athletic career with personal priorities, reinforcing that decisions about her image and future are shaped not just by professional considerations, but by relationships and values as well.
As women’s sports continue to gain broader exposure, athletes like Brink are increasingly finding themselves at the center of conversations that go beyond performance on the court. Whether it’s endorsement deals, media appearances, or creative projects, the modern athlete often navigates multiple worlds at once. Brink’s comments suggest that while she is open-minded about such opportunities, she remains grounded and intentional in how she approaches them.
For now, there is no confirmation that Brink will appear in Playboy, and she made no indication that anything is currently in motion. Still, her willingness to discuss the topic openly — while setting clear personal boundaries — has added another layer to the ongoing conversation about autonomy, image, and choice in women’s professional sports.
Whether or not she ultimately follows Gondrezick into the pages of Playboy, Brink appears comfortable charting her own path, guided by both confidence and consideration for those closest to her.
