Kyogo Furuhashi’s future at Birmingham City looks increasingly uncertain after Chris Davies’ latest comments

The long-term prospects of Kyogo Furuhashi at Birmingham City F.C. appear increasingly doubtful after head coach Chris Davies delivered a blunt response regarding the forward’s absence from the squad during the club’s most recent defeat.

Birmingham suffered yet another disappointing result away from home over the weekend, this time losing to Charlton Athletic F.C., managed by Nathan Jones. The match itself added another setback to what has been a frustrating campaign, but much of the discussion afterward centred on the absence of the Japanese striker from the matchday squad.

After securing a remarkable and record-breaking promotion from EFL League One last season, Birmingham entered the current campaign with considerable optimism surrounding their chances in the EFL Championship.
