The decorated skiing icon, widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes in the history of U.S. skiing, suffered a terrifying accident during the women’s downhill event at the Winter Games. The crash resulted in a severe leg injury that was considered life-threatening, forcing emergency responders to airlift her from the mountain before rushing her into surgery. Doctors were ultimately able to save her leg, but the recovery process has been extremely difficult both physically and emotionally.

Reports from Page Six stated that Vonn and the French athlete were seen together in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood on Thursday, immediately fueling speculation that the pair could be romantically involved.

According to the report, the two athletes appeared relaxed and comfortable while spending time together in the city. They reportedly enjoyed a cozy lunch before later making their way to the subway, where observers noted that they sat close together while waiting for the train.

The public outing quickly attracted attention because neither Vonn nor Bailet has previously spoken publicly about any relationship between them. Their appearance together in New York, however, led many fans and media outlets to wonder whether the pair may now be dating.
