Steven Gerrard was seen celebrating Rangers’ impressive derby victory over Celtic alongside one of his former Ibrox favourites after enjoying the result at a popular sports bar.

The former Rangers manager was pictured with ex-Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield following the club’s emphatic 3-0 victory over Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup on Sunday.

Gerrard, who remains a hugely familiar figure to Rangers supporters because of his successful spell in charge of the club, watched the Old Firm encounter in Govan before continuing his celebrations after the final whistle.

His post-match reunion with Arfield provided another memorable moment, with the pair posing together at 442, the former Rangers midfielder’s sports bar on Paisley Road West.

The two former Ibrox figures appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the occasion as they stood behind the bar and recreated Arfield’s trademark salute celebration.

Gerrard’s appearance alongside Arfield was particularly fitting given the connection between the pair during the former Liverpool captain’s time as Rangers manager.
