A sensational alleg*tion. Lukasz Fabianski might make a surprising comeback to West Ham after being released
A shocking allegation has emerged, implying that freed custodian Lukasz Fabianski may be returning to West Ham.
Graham Potter drew criticism for dismissing Lukasz Fabianski at the end of last season.
The Hammers manager chose to allow long-serving quintet Aaron Cresswell, Michail Antonio, Fabianski, and Vladimir Coufal leave London Stadium.
The magnificent four served the Hammers for 33 years and made over 1,000 appearances combined.
Potter made it apparent that he intended to rebuild West Ham around younger players.
Potter made a major choice on West Ham’s goalkeeping unit.
However, when the 50-year-old lamented a lack of leadership in his team after opening the new season with three defeats and 11 goals conceded, many believed he only had himself to blame.
However, the spotlight has been focused mostly on the custodian job.
Potter also fired goalie coach Xavi Valero as he made extensive changes.
West Ham’s head coach attempted to sign Mads Hermansen from relegated Leicester City as their new number one.
The Hammers spent a club record sum for a custodian when they purchased the Dane for £15.5 million.
Potter made the mistake of putting Hermansen in the starting lineup for the season opener against Sunderland, despite the fact that the 25-year-old Danish international had only been training with the squad for a few days.
Hermansen made a startling debut, with questions about his participation in all three goals as West Ham fell 3-0 at the Stadium of Light.
Hermansen subsequently made more mistakes in a 5-1 home defeat to Chelsea before being replaced by Areola for a Carabao Cup match against Wolves.
The Frenchman demonstrated why Potter dropped him in the first place, making two blatant blunders of his own as the Irons lost 3-2.
Sensational rumour Fabianski could make a stunning return to West Ham
West Ham ultimately won their first game of the season, 3-0 at Forest, before the international break.
Hermansen had nothing to do but did admirably.
Areola was linked with a move away as deadline day approached, with West Ham apparently looking for a number of alternatives.
Rumours of additional West Ham exits have circulated since deadline day, with some leagues still open for business, including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Greece.
Now there could be a stunning twist in east London.
Because a startling allegation has surfaced that Fabianski could make a surprise comeback to West Ham following his acrimonious departure.
Former Poland number one Fabianski criticised Potter’s handling of his departure from West Ham.
With striker Niclas Fullkrug injured while on international duty with Germany, there has been speculation that Antonio, who is still a free agent, may return.
West Ham have responded to the prospect of a spectacular Antonio comeback.
However, Fabianski now has a legitimate chance.
The veteran custodian has just lately given the Hammers a tearful farewell.
According to a major West Ham insider, the club is currently discussing Fabianski’s return as third-choice custodian.
Fab back, with Foderingham poised to quit West Ham?
Rumours suggest that Wes Foderingham, who presently holds the position, may have his contract terminated to pursue a career elsewhere.
The theory has yet to be substantiated, but Hammers News has questioned the senior spokesman for West Ham’s owners if the claims are true.
ExWHUemployee, a West Ham insider, has posted the story on his Patreon page and is seeking explanation.
According to his ex, Foderingham could be moving to Denmark or Cyprus soon.
Many Hammers fans believed Potter should have offered Fabianski a fresh one-year contract.
Especially given that he had proven himself to be a better chance for West Ham’s number one place than Areola by the end of the previous season.
Fabianski is well-known for excelling in pilot and Formula One racing driver reaction testing, even at the age of 40.
So, if he returns as number three, he will almost certainly be breathing down Areola’s neck for the backup position before long.
From West Ham’s perspective, the optics of unified squad preparation may not be ideal.
However, Fabianski was a well-liked figure in the Hammers’ dressing room, and his arrival may boost the entire squad.
