Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported on Monday that Lions starting defensive end Alim McNeill tore his ACL on Sunday. This means that McNeill’s 2024 season is over.

Additionally, Detroit cornerbacks Carlton Davis (broken jaw) and Khalil Dorsey (broken leg) will not be able to play in the 2024 regular season. The Lions may also be without running back David Montgomery for the remainder of the season after he tore his MCL in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Since the Detroit Lions are hurt again, the Minnesota Vikings have no reason not to win the NFC North.

Since the news about McNeill, Montgomery, Davis, and Dorsey, Detroit has lost a lot of important players to major injuries this season. These players include linebacker Alex Anzalone, safety Ifeatu Melifonwu, edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson, and defender Malcolm Rodriguez.

That the Lions will finish the 2024 season as the No. 1 seed in the NFC and NFC North winners is becoming less likely now that so many players are hurt.

Minnesota is now 11-2 and has a clear road to the top of the NFC North, if not the whole NFC. Their next game is Monday night against the Chicago Bears. With only four games left, the Vikings don’t have to win all of them to win the division. They can probably handle losing one more game before the end of the season.

Philadelphia Eagles moved to 12-2 on Sunday, though. This means that Minnesota’s best chance to be the No. 1 seed in the NFC is still to win all four games they still have to play in 2024.

In spite of all of that, the Vikings’ chances of getting to play at least one playoff game in their home field seem much better now than they did even 24 hours ago.

The model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit has become a part of the Lions group and often attends their events and drives for charity. Christen is helping a lot of different groups with kids and people in need. She is also at a lot of different pregame events planned for their community with the wives and girlfriends of Lions players.

Following Jared Goff’s 4-TD win over the Jaguars, Christen Goff was filled with joy.

The Lions beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 52–6 and Christen made sure to post a picture of the moment on Instagram.

Christen wrote on her Instagram story, “LIONS WIN!!”

Christen has been with Goff since the start of his time with the Lions. The two people got married in a small ceremony in California in 2024.

A magazine called Sports Illustrated asked Christen about her connection.

“At the time, I really wasn’t looking for anything. I did not want to be with anyone for a year after ending a long-term romance. “After I met him, everything else is history,” Christen Harper said.
