After playing in the Cowboys’ first regular season game, quarterback Trey Lance felt a little more financially secure.

Lance was fined $22,511 for needless roughness, the NFL confirmed on Saturday. The usage of his helmet was the specific infraction.

After Eagles safety Reed Blankenship recovered a fumble and started rushing towards the Dallas end zone, Lance dropped his head to strike Blankenship. During the game, Lance did not receive any penalties.

Cooper Rush will return to the Cowboys starting lineup for Monday night’s game against the Texans, although Lance was in the game after taking his place in the second half.

The Chiefs vs. Bills game is the day’s highlight of PFT’s Week 11 2024 NFL game previews.

Week 11 is here. There is an AFC game with major playoff implications every Sunday timeslot.

The game of the day, of course, takes place where they cover people with mustard and ketchup and leap over tables.

There are four teams off. This implies that between Sunday and Monday, 13 games will be played. This is our weekly overview of each one.

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, Fox (Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady) 6-3 Packers (-5.5) against 4-5 Bears

The Packers have swept the Bears from 2019 to 2023 and defeated them eleven times in a row. Additionally, the Bears are having trouble right now; they have lost three straight games and fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.

The Bears were humiliated by the Patriots, 19-3, at home after falling to the Cardinals 29-9. Chicago has failed to score a touchdown on 25 consecutive possessions.

The Packers have suffered three defeats at the hands of opponents with a 22-5 overall record. At the moment, Green Bay is the seventh seed in the NFC. Jordan Love needed time to recover from a groin ailment, so the bye week was well-timed.

Sunday, 1:00 PM ET, CBS, 2-8 Jaguars vs. 8-1 Lions (-14) (Kevin Harlan and Trent Green)

The Lions are favoured by 14 points, the largest margin of the season, and have won seven straight games. Detroit would go eight games without a loss for the first time since 1934.

Trevor Lawrence, the quarterback for the Jaguars, will miss another game because of a left shoulder issue. Jacksonville, which has lost three straight games, will start Mac Jones again after he committed three turnovers against the Vikings.

The possible coach of the year will be on one sideline. Conversely, he may be this year’s next coach to lose his job.

Sunday, 1:00 PM ET, CBS (Tom McCarthy, Jay Feely, and Ross Tucker) 2-7 Raiders vs. 3-6 Dolphins (-7).

With five straight losses, the Raiders are tied with the Giants for the NFL’s longest losing streak. Luke Getsy was fired as offensive coordinator following a 41-24 defeat to Cincinnati in Week 9, therefore this will be the first game in 2024 without him.

Miami’s victory in Los Angeles on Monday night snapped a three-game losing slide. In 2024, they have yet to win consecutive games. Tyreek Hill, a receiver, talked candidly this week about a wrist problem he has had since camp. It might help explain why, in comparison to his previous excellence, his performance was disappointingly modest.

The Dolphins are hampered by a scheduling oddity that makes this one more difficult. The Dolphins had a short week because of a travel back from California to South Florida that cut down on their recuperation and preparation time, while the Raiders enjoyed a bye week.

Fox, Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, 4-5 Rams (-2.5) vs. 3-7 Patriots (Adam Amin and Mark Sanchez)

The two previous Super Bowls, which were 17 years apart, are being rematched. Furthermore, Matthew Stafford is making his first trip to New England since 2014.

Miami defeated the Rams 23-15, ending their three-game winning run. This season, the Rams are 1-5 when scoring 20 points or less.

The Patriots won 19-3, their first victory by seven or more points since 2022, and had nine sacks in Chicago.

Since coach Jerod Mayo declared the team to be “soft,” New England is 2-1.

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, Fox, 2-7 Browns (-1) vs. 3-7 Saints (Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma)

Jameis Winston, who played for the Saints for four seasons after spending his first five in Tampa, is returning home to New Orleans. After a victory (and three touchdowns) in his first Cleveland start, he suffered a defeat (and three interceptions).

In Darren Rizzi’s first game as interim coach, the Saints stunned the Falcons to snap a seven-game winning run. Atlanta missed three field goals, but New Orleans was outgained by almost 100 yards.

Last week, the Saints’ receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling showed himself to be a formidable weapon. MVS caught three catches for 109 yards and both of the team’s touchdowns for the day before being cut by the Bills following the trade of Amari Cooper.

Sunday at 1:00 PM ET, CBS (Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber, and Jason McCourty) will broadcast the Colts 4-6 against the Jets 3-7 (-4).

Joe Flacco started for the Colts, who lost 0–2; Anthony Richardson is back. After opening 4-3, Indianapolis has now lost three straight games.

The Jets fell 31-6 in Arizona after defeating Houston on Thursday night to end a five-game losing run. Jeff Ulbrich, the team’s interim coach, acknowledged that they weren’t prepared to play.

In Week 11, the Jets had a bye. If they lose, the atmosphere will be terrible. Even if they prevail, it won’t be any better.

Few people are asking this question. When the Jets’ 2024 season is done, will quarterback Aaron Rodgers continue to play?

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, 7-3 Ravens (-3) vs. 7-2 Steelers, CBS (Ian Eagle and Charles Davis)

This is the 36th time that Ravens coach John Harbaugh and Steelers coach Mike Tomlin have met. The series is led by Tomlin, 20–15.

Lamar Jackson, the quarterback, has had trouble versus Pittsburgh. Derrick Henry, a running back, has also yet to surpass 75 rushing yards in a game versus the Steelers. Nevertheless, they have never faced both of them together on the same squad.

Six out of seven games have been won by Baltimore. Pittsburgh has now won four straight games.

It’s Pittsburgh’s first AFC North game in 2024. They will play division rivals four straight games.

7-2 Vikings (-6) vs. 2-7 Titans, Sunday, 1:00 PM ET, CBS (Adam Archuleta and Spero Dedes)

Despite suffering a right hand injury, Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold is fully recovered. In Jacksonville, he threw three interceptions. He appears to be less accurate the longer he has to build up and throw.

Darnold is tied for the league’s most interceptions with ten.

Minnesota can reach 8-2 against an overmatched Titans club thanks to the defence. Tennessee fell by 10 points despite a strong performance from quarterback Will Levis against the Chargers.

Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET, Fox (Kevin Kugler and Daryl Johnston) 6-4 Falcons vs. 5-6 Broncos (-2.5).

Which group can demonstrate that Week 10 was an anomaly? The Saints, who were previously 2-7, defeated the Falcons. Atlanta ought to have prevailed. A blocked field goal by the Broncos gave the Chiefs their first defeat of the season.

Centre Alex Forsyth got steamrolled on the crucial play, but it seems like Denver has come together behind him. As the Broncos attempt to snap a two-game losing streak and contend for their first postseason appearance since 2015, can it bring them together?

With a 64.8 percent completion percentage, 10 passing touchdowns, three rushing touchdowns, one receiving score, and one interception over the last eight games, Box Nix has been playing at a high level.

Sean Payton, the former coach of the Saints, would have a perfect sweep of the NFC South with a Broncos victory.

5-4 49ers vs. 4-5 Seahawks (-6.5), Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET, Fox Greg Olsen and Joe Davis

In Week 6, the 49ers defeated Seattle. The Seahawks would have swept the season for three consecutive years with another victory.

The Seahawks have dropped five of six games after a 3-0 start. The 49ers would tie the Cardinals, who are on a bye, if they won and would then be 6-4.

Christian McCaffrey, a running back, made his regular-season debut with 107 yards from scrimmage.

Chiefs 9-0, Bills 8-2 (-2), Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET, CBS (Tony Romo and Jim Nantz)

The Chiefs never stop winning. Securing the No. 1 seed is the main goal for the Bills, who are dominating the AFC East.

The Chiefs and Bills will face off in the regular season for the sixth consecutive year. In 2021, 2022, and 2023, the Bills prevailed.

The Chiefs have a 4-3 advantage in the Patrick Mahomes/Josh Allen rivalry, including playoffs.

Ultimately, until the Bills defeat the Chiefs in the playoffs, they won’t really slay the monster. Allen and the Bills have a 0-3 postseason record against Mahomes.

NBC/Peacock (Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth), Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET, 4-6 Bengals vs. 6-3 Chargers (-1.5).

The Bengals’ contest against the Colts feels like a playoff game as they go into prime time. Additionally, the Chargers seem poised to make it to the postseason.

This season, L.A. has given up just 13.1 points per game. In each of their nine games, they have conceded 20 points or less.

The Chargers will play three prime-time games in four weeks, starting with this one. On Monday night in Week 12, they host the Ravens, and on Sunday night in Week 14, they go to the Chiefs.

All six of the Chargers’ victories have come against losing clubs.

Cincinnati still has a chance to make the playoffs. However, the rest of the regular season is basically a playoff game.

This is advantageous since quarterback Joe Burrow often performs better throughout the postseason. Tee Higgins’ return from a quad injury will be beneficial.

6-3 Cowboys vs. 6-4 Texans (-7.5), Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN/ABC (Troy Aikman and Joe Buck)

If nothing else, neither team will be harmed by the sunshine.

The Texans are playing their third consecutive prime-time game. The first two have been lost.

In 2024, Dallas has yet to win at home. The Texans have dropped three of their last four games after beginning 5-1.

In addition to elimination, the Cowboys are getting closer to irrelevance, which is something owner Jerry Jones is much more afraid of.
