Lions’ Week 2 Wednesday Injury Report
The Detroit Lions had a few players miss practice on Wednesday.
Detroit Lions left tackle Taylor Decker missed Wednesday’s practice but hopes to play against the Chicago Bears.
Decker’s initial injury report indicates a shoulder issue. Linebacker Jack Campbell missed practice due to an ankle issue.
Following a week in which the offensive line failed to meet expectations, Dan Campbell was asked this week if the team’s identity has become less evident as a result of a few offensive line adjustments.
Detroit is preparing for a crucial game against the Chicago Bears, aiming to correct past mistakes and return to their core principles of strong running and run defence.
Detroit committed far too many blunders and key penalties at inconvenient times.
“I know I’ve mentioned it before, and you kind of leaned into it, but you really don’t know who you are until Week 5. Campbell said, “Week 4, Week 5, maybe Week 6, somewhere in there is where you can really hang your hat.” “Now, as for our essential ideals and what I believe in, no. We’ll keep driving that home and become better in that area, or we’ll do whatever it takes to improve a couple things.”
