Fabrizio Romano: ‘It’s over’ at Manchester United for’very, really good’ star; he wants to join Premier League rival
Manchester United are preparing to sell a handful of players this summer.
Manchester United want to sell unwanted players quickly this summer to boost transfer cash for manager Ruben Amorim’s rebuilding efforts.
Without European football, the Red Devils can only afford one or two new arrivals without making any sales. Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia have expressed their want to leave the club this summer. The club plans to secure permanent exits for all five players.
Deals might reach more than £150 million if the Red Devils can secure the necessary transfer prices for the players. With the exception of Garnacho, all of the players spent the most of last season on loan away from Old Trafford.
Garnacho expressed his dissatisfaction with being dropped for the Europa League final in May and has since been told he is free to choose a new club.
Fabrizio Romano sends Alejandro Garnacho an update.
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Garnacho wishes to remain in the Premier League after his time with Manchester United. He has been connected with Serie A and Bayer Leverkusen, who are now headed by former United manager Erik ten Hag.
Romano stated, “It’s over between Garnacho and Manchester United. Garnacho will leave because he wants to, and Man United wants him to leave. So they agreed to split ways.
“Garnacho will not attend training right away; he can stay away from Carrington for the next few weeks to look for a solution on the market.
“Let me reiterate, as I have previously stated, Alejandro Garnacho’s first aim is to remain in the Premier League. He would like to continue in the Premier League. So let’s see what happens, since Alejandro Garnacho would be delighted to stay in England.
“There was some interest from Bayer Leverkusen and some interest from Italian clubs, but Garnacho is mainly waiting and giving priority to English clubs.” For certainly, his relationship with Manchester United is done.
Chelsea was connected with Garnacho in January, but they have already made a few additions to their forward line this summer.
Owen Hargreaves believes that Alejandro Garnacho is a good player.
Speaking after United’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal in March, the former Red Devils midfielder said of Garnacho, “Do you know what? We’ve seen him play on the left.
“He’s really successful coming inside, but I don’t mind him on the right because he needs to distribute the ball more. When he plays on the left, he moves inside and shoots. “He did a lot for his teammates.”
He continued, “He’s a really, really excellent player, and I don’t want to see him leave. In a sense, you have to construct around him and Kobbie Mainoo.”
Hargreaves’ comments about Garnacho before the player’s public tantrum about not starting in the Europa League and a photo of him wearing an Aston Villa shirt with Marcus Rashford on the back.
