Find out how to watch the double Olympic champion participate in the season’s first slalom competition, aiming for her 102nd World Cup triumph.

Mikaela Shiffrin will compete in the second slalom race of her 16th FIS Alpine Ski World Cup season on Saturday (15 November) in Levi, Finland.

The slalom is Shiffrin’s hallmark event. She has won eight season titles in the discipline, the most recent in 2023/24, and 64 of her 101 World Cup victories have been in slalom.

Shiffrin returned from injuries to win the World Cup slalom in Sun Valley, capping off a successful season.

The 30-year-old will now attempt to break her own records by winning her 102nd World Cup and 65th slalom title.

Shiffrin has a lengthy history of success in Levi, where he has won eight times. Each time, you get a prize reindeer, all eight of which live on a nearby farm.

At the Finnish resort, she competes with Slovakia’s Petra Vlhová, who won the Beijing 2022 slalom gold medal and has six Levi wins. Vlhová, on the other hand, is still out of action as she recovers from an injury suffered in January 2024.

Shiffrin will face competition from Croatia’s Zrinka Ljutić, the reigning slalom Crystal Globe winner with three victories last season, and Switzerland’s Camille Rast, who won two slalom races. Austria’s Katharina Liensberger, who won the silver medal in the Beijing 2022 slalom, aims to maintain her position as a top contender.

The U.S. Alpine Ski Team will have a strong female representation in Levi, featuring Nina O’Brien, Paula Moltzan, AJ Hurt, Elisabeth Bocock, Liv Moritz, and Katie Hensien. Moltzan is a slalom specialist who came second at the World Cup giant slalom opener in Soelden. Nineteen-year-old Annika Hunt will make her World Cup debut.

Schedule: Women’s World Cup in Levi, Finland.

Race times (subject to change) are listed below:

Saturday, November 15, 2025 – Women’s Slalom: Run 1 at 11:00 local time (4:00 ET) and Run 2 at 14:00 local time (7:00 ET).
