Jared Goff’s staggering net worth, The Bachelor star wife, and million-pound estate empire
Jared Goff has gone from being a stopgap starter to an MVP contender on the field, while also building a massive net worth and an ever-growing real estate empire outside of it.
A little over three years ago, Jared Goff was viewed as a bridge – a temporary fix to a long-term problem – for the Detroit Lions, who were mired in a 3-13-1 season. Then 26, Goff was just a placeholder, holding down the fort until the Lions discovered their future star quarterback.
By 2025, the situation has significantly changed. The Lions clinched the NFC North with a 15-2 record, and Goff, the former’stopgap’ quarterback, received chants of “Goff for MVP” at Ford Field.
Despite the Lions’ loss to the Washington Commanders in the Divisional Rounds, their 30-year-old quarterback had already begun his redemption journey. As the Detroit Lions and Goff prepare for the upcoming season, here’s everything you need to know about the former Rams quarterback, including his life off the field.
Jared Goff’s Net Worth
Goff’s on-field accomplishments reflect his financial success. In 2024, the Lions secured Goff’s future by signing him to a four-year, $212 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid player in franchise history.
However, it is not only his playing contract that brings in the big bucks. He has also collaborated with well-known brands such as Red Bull, BMW, Bose, Banana Republic, Nike, and Pizza Hut. His marketability continues to grow as he aligns himself with some of the world’s largest corporations.
Goff’s entrepreneurial spirit prompted him to launch his clothing line, JG16. With all of these sources of income, Goff’s net worth is estimated to be around $100 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
The woman behind the quarterback
From his time in Los Angeles to his move to Detroit, Goff found a lifelong support system in model and actress Christen Harper. The couple has a long history together, dating back to their college days in California.
Harper is a well-known model who has worked with major brands and appeared on the popular TV show The Bachelor. Despite the attention, the couple lives a relatively private life, revealing only a few details about their relationship to the outside world.
Living between Detroit and California and leading a quiet life away from the spotlight, they have become one of the most admired sports couples.
Jared Goff’s Real Estate Empire
Goff has also built a reputation in the real estate industry. He recently made an extravagant purchase of a $10.5 million French country-style mansion in Manhattan Beach, California.
The expansive property includes 5,700 square feet of luxurious living space, five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a floating spiral staircase, and wood-beamed ceilings.
Goff, however, was dissatisfied and decided to expand his footprint by paying $8.6 million for the adjacent land. His total estate now measures 20,604 square feet, including this addition, which includes a four-bedroom, four-bathroom house with a fireplace and pool.
Goff had previously demonstrated his investment acumen with the sale of a Hidden Hills mansion. Goff bought it in 2018 for $4 million and sold it for £6.3 million in 2022.
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff won the Offensive Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at the NFL Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida
On February 2, 2025, at the NFL Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, Florida, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff performed admirably, earning the Offensive Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. Goff led the NFC to a 76-63 win over the AFC in a high-scoring flag football game.
In the flag football game, Goff demonstrated his exceptional passing abilities by accumulating 126 yards and throwing three touchdowns. His accurate throws and strategic decision-making were critical to the NFC’s offensive dominance throughout the game.
Aside from the flag football game, Goff excelled in the precision passing competition earlier in the Pro Bowl festivities. He won this competition with a score of 44 points, demonstrating his accuracy and consistency as a passer. His success was aided by perfect trivia answers provided by teammate Josh Jacobs, which added to his overall score.
Goff’s Pro Bowl achievements highlight his significant contributions to the Detroit Lions during the regular season. In October 2024, he made history as the first Lions quarterback to be named NFC Offensive Player of the Month. During that month, Goff completed 80% of his passes for 680 yards, eight touchdowns, and no interceptions, resulting in a passer rating of 149.8, the highest ever recorded in October.
His Pro Bowl MVP award adds to an already impressive list of honours, highlighting his growth and impact as an NFL quarterback. Goff’s performance not only made Lions fans proud, but it also highlighted his importance to the league’s future.
Other Detroit Lions players made notable contributions at the Pro Bowl Games. Jahmyr Gibbs, a running back playing cornerback, made an impressive interception during the flag football game and returned it before being stopped by the AFC team. Taylor Decker, an offensive lineman, also took part in the tug-of-war competition, which helped the NFC win.
Overall, the 2025 Pro Bowl Games provided a platform for players like Jared Goff to showcase their abilities in a fun and competitive setting, celebrating the talents that make the NFL so appealing to fans all over the world.
Lions quarterback Jared Goff wins Pro Bowl Games offensive MVP honours in the NFC’s 76-63 victory over the AFC
Yes, the Pro Bowl Games still exist. So someone had to win the competition.
On Sunday, the NFC gained some bragging rights over the AFC by winning the all-star games 76-63, with Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff winning offensive MVP and Pro Bowl teammate Byron Murphy winning defensive MVP.
Goff completed 10-of-11 passes for 126 yards and three touchdowns, while Murphy had a pick-6.
Peyton Manning, the AFC’s head coach, joked about the light-hearted matchup, which he has lost three years in a row to his younger brother Eli.
“The team moral is low to quite low… I’m 0-3 against @EliManning and I just have to own it” 😂

There has been a lot of talk about how this version of the Pro Bowl isn’t as entertaining as it once was, especially because it isn’t a tackle football game with pads. Shaun Taylor’s infamous 2006 hit on punter Brian Moorman resurfaced on social media every year. And some of the former stars tossed in their two cents, including Colts legend Reggie Wayne, who provided this bit of humour:
The 3 biggest things the NFL players are missing during the Probowl.
1. Playing an actual football game.
2. Being in Hawaii
3. Being hungover from Mai Tais and chicken wings… My God that was the best…. #ProBowlGames #NFL

Despite the belly-aching, there were some enjoyable highlights. According to the Associated Press’ recap of the events:
The NFC got two touchdowns from rookie Malik Nabers of the New York Giants, and Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson also scored. Jefferson caught six passes totalling 46 yards. Nabers finished with five catches for 62 yards.

Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase scored three times, including a late 45-yarder from Russell Wilson, while Jacksonville’s Brian Thomas Jr. added two more for the AFC. Chase celebrated his third with a backflip before performing “the Griddy,” which his former college teammate Jefferson helped popularise.

The NFC began the day with a 14-7 lead following six skills competitions worth up to three points on Thursday nights. The conference extended its lead by winning the “Great Football Race” and dominating a traditional tug-of-war competition on Sunday.
With New York Jets’ Dexter Lawrence, Tampa Bay’s Vita Vea, and Seattle’s Leonard Williams anchoring the strength test, the AFC was yanked into a foam pit twice in a best-of-three event.
Confirmed: Chris Spielman won’t be joining the Jets from the Lions
Chris Spielman will remain with the Lions for the time being. While several coaches had been departing Detroit for different positions elsewhere, Spielman is remaining in Detroit.
Spielman interviewed for the position on January 11 and was considered to be the next general manager of the New York Jets. According to Josina Anderson, the Jets are taking a different approach and are reportedly hiring Darren Mougey, the assistant general manager of the Broncos.
Spielman was instrumental in the hiring of executive vice president/general manager Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell. Spielman has served as the President/CEO’s Special Assistant and Chairperson since 2021.
With 1,138 tackles, Spielman continues to hold the record for most tackles in Lions history. After being chosen 29th overall in the 1988 NFL Draft, he spent eight seasons in Detroit.
Spielman worked as a broadcaster for FOX and ESPN after finishing his playing career.
Six Lions players who failed to meet expectations during the 2024 season
The Lions had a very good season overall, but these six players did not meet expectations.
A one-and-done playoff exit reduces things significantly, but overall, the 2024 season will be remembered as a good one for the Detroit Lions. Approximately 28 teams in the league right now would consider 15 wins, a division title, and everything else they accomplished to be a successful season.
Of course, the list of Lions players who achieved significant individual success this season is extensive; otherwise, they would not have gone 15-2 and earned a playoff bye. When it comes right down to it, some exceeded expectations.
However, as always, there were some Lions players who did not perform well or did not meet realistic expectations this season. A player’s failure to perform can be caused by a variety of factors, including injury, poor scheme fit, a position change, opponents becoming more aware of them, and so on.
For whatever reason, these Lions players failed to meet expectations this season.

6. TE Sam LaPorta.
After a rookie season in which he set numerous franchise and league records for tight ends, LaPorta had nowhere to go but down this year. He also suffered a hamstring injury in training camp, followed by an ankle injury early in the regular season. Later, a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder cost him the game.
LaPorta had 32 receptions (on 45 targets) for 341 yards and four touchdowns in the final six games of the regular season, indicating that he was clearly healthier than he had been for much of the season. Not coincidentally, that stretch accounted for a significant portion of his season’s output (60 receptions for 726 yards and seven touchdowns).
LaPorta is reluctantly included in this list. However, he did experience a “sophomore slump” in terms of production, which was caused by injuries and opponents’ awareness of his abilities.
5. CB Emmanuel Moseley.
Moseley was originally signed by the Lions in 2023, following a torn ACL with the San Francisco 49ers the previous season. After tearing his other ACL two snaps into his Lions debut in 2023, he was granted a mulligan with another one-year contract last offseason.
Moseley’s expectations had to be reasonable after tearing his ACL in consecutive seasons. However, a reasonable expectation would have been for him to be mostly healthy, and he played a significant role early in training camp.
However, a torn pectoral in joint practice against the New York Giants, and the subsequent IR stint, sidelined Moseley until Week 12. Then, due to a hamstring injury, he was a late scratch on Thanksgiving Day and a healthy scratch the following two games. He played strictly on special teams again in Week 16, but did not play in Week 17. He was sidelined before Week 18 due to illness, effectively ending his season. His time with the Lions was cut short due to numerous injuries.
A healthy (or healthier, as it wouldn’t have taken much to be healthier) Moseley could have been a huge help to the Lions’ secondary this year. It simply didn’t happen.
4. Sifeatu Melifonwu.
Unfortunately, injuries have been the story of Melifonwu’s NFL career, and this year was probably the worst in terms of timing, as it was the final year of his contract. An ankle injury during training camp should have put him on IR to start the season (as acknowledged by Dan Campbell). Despite being on the verge of returning, a severe dislocated finger necessitated surgery and kept him out until Week 16.
Melifonwu’s injury sundae was topped off by a hamstring injury in the playoff loss to the Commanders, which contributed to the Lions’ embarrassingly thin safety corps.
Melifonwu’s breakout stretch late in the 2023 season earned him some early buzz for this season. However, as the saying goes, “hurt guys stay hurt,” and the Lions’ first draft pick from the Matthew Stafford trade exemplifies this.
3. DE Marcus Davenport
Last March, the Lions signed Davenport with the expectation that he would provide a viable pass rush off the edge opposite Aidan Hutchison. In the season opener, he did just that. After missing Week 2 due to a groin injury, he sustained an arm/elbow injury in Week 3 from Cardinals offensive tackle Paris Johnson, causing him to miss the rest of the season.
While this year’s season-ending injury was unplanned and the result of a dirty play by an opposing player, Davenport’s durability issues date back further in his career, which is why the Lions signed him to such a cheap one-year contract. Fliers on consistently injured players do not always work out, and this one was about as un-ideal as it could have been.
2. DE Josh Paschal
Paschal finished his third NFL season with two sacks, 21 total tackles, and five tackles for loss in 14 games (ten starts). Surface stats obviously do not always reflect a defensive lineman’s impact, but Pro Football Focus did credit him with 34 quarterback pressures, which looks solid. However, Paschal’s pass rush win rate (5.5 percent) was outside the top 100 among qualified edge rushers, and PFF graded his work poorly overall (No. 107 out of 119 qualified edge rushers).
Ideally, given any potential roadblocks, a top-50 draft pick would be more noticeable and impactful on a consistent basis by Year 3. Paschal simply has not been, as he approaches the end of his rookie contract and a pivotal year for his future in Detroit.
1. OG Graham Glasgow.
Glasgow returned to the Lions in 2023 free agency on a one-year contract and had an excellent season as the starting right guard (top-10 PFF grade among guards).
Glasgow’s versatility is one of his strongest characteristics. He was brought back on a multi-year contract last offseason, and after Kevin Zeitler was signed, he was moved over to left guard as the starter.
Switching sides of the offensive line has been compared to learning to write with your non-dominant hand. In the most basic sense, everything that is essential to success (footwork, hand placement, etc.) is reversed when switching from one side to the other. Glasgow played some left guard during his first stint with the Lions, but he hadn’t done much in recent years before this season.
Glasgow fell to the 55th-best overall grade among guards according to PFF during the regular season. With a 60.0 grade considered below-average, he only cleared a 55.1 overall PFF grade twice in the final seven games of the season (including playoffs). The playoff loss to the Commanders was the low point, with an inexplicably low 10.2 pass blocking grade that allowed nine pressures.
The chart below, which compares pressure rate allowed and blown block rate for interior offensive linemen this season, shows Glasgow in the bottom left quadrant, which you don’t want to be in.
Glasgow did miss one game (Week 16) because of a knee injury. However, there were no other clear-cut injury limitations for him this season, and his 2023 campaign appears to be an outlier compared to previous seasons.
The easy expectation going into the season was that Glasgow would make a seamless transition to left guard. However, the transition is not easy, and Glasgow experienced significant difficulties. At the very least, with Zeitler’s status as a free agent complicating matters, the Lions will be tasked with adding competition for Glasgow this offseason.
5 Detroit Lions free agents who could join Aaron Glenn at the New York Jets
Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images
Aaron Glenn could try to bring one or more of the Lions’ free agents with him to the Jets.
Aaron Glenn has been named the new head coach of the New York Jets, following weeks of speculation.
So the Detroit Lions are looking for a new defensive coordinator, which is exactly what head coach Dan Campbell expected. While some Lions assistant coaches may follow Glenn to New York, it’s possible that some players may also leave in free agency.
According to reports, Glenn is looking for an experienced defensive coordinator, and Steve Wilks has been mentioned frequently since Glenn took over as head coach of the Jets. But the Jets’ core defensive philosophy will undoubtedly bear Glenn’s imprint, which is to say (assuming he brings his philosophy from Detroit) that they will blitz frequently and play a lot of man coverage.
The Jets appear to have some defensive players who fit Glenn’s defensive style well. But he will undoubtedly want some players who are already familiar with his scheme/philosophy and who fit in well. And, when it comes down to it, some upcoming Lions free agents who developed a relationship with Glenn during his four years in Detroit may be willing to follow him to New York.
Here are five upcoming Lions free agents who may follow Glenn to New York.
5 Lions 2025 free agents who could join Aaron Glenn at the Jets
5. DE Marcus Davenport
The Lions took a one-year chance on Davenport last offseason, and while this year’s injury was rather random (an arm/elbow injury when Cardinals offensive tackle Paris Johnson chopped down on his arm in Week 3), the undeniable reality is he just can’t stay healthy (six games played over the last two seasons). He has also had only three sacks in his last 21 games, indicating that his potential as a former first-round pick is fading quickly.
So Davenport will be joining his fourth team in as many seasons in 2025. Where that will be is unclear, as his options are likely limited.
Glenn was a member of the New Orleans Saints’ coaching staff when he was draughted 14th overall in 2018. As far as low-risk options for bolstering their pass rush are concerned, the Jets could do worse than Davenport.
4. DL John Cominsky
Cominsky missed the entire 2024 season after tearing the MCL in his right knee during training camp. In his previous two seasons with the Lions, he had 66 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, six sacks, and 20 quarterback hits as a useful and versatile defensive lineman.
Cominsky found a home in Detroit after being claimed off waivers in 2022. This season’s injury makes it unlikely that he will be re-signed this offseason, but reuniting with Glenn in New York is definitely possible as the Jets retool their defence.
3. LB Derrick Barnes
Barnes’ 2024 season ended early (Week 3) due to a torn MCL and PCL in his right knee from a low block. His ACL remained intact, so there appeared to be a slim chance he could have returned before the season was over. But that was resolved before the regular season ended, and the Lions’ playoff run was short-lived.
Barnes has matured into an excellent all-around off-ball linebacker in Glenn’s defensive scheme over the last few seasons. Aside from any concerns about his injury recovery in March, the Lions have some good depth at linebacker and could let him go on the open market without fear of not being able to replace him.
Barnes was a college defensive end who made the full transition to linebacker once he reached the NFL. Glenn would value that versatility, as well as his familiarity with him. The Jets’ new defensive scheme (again, assuming Glenn’s success in Detroit) would necessitate more traditionally sized linebackers, rather than Jamien Sherwood, who thrived in the previous scheme this season but is a converted safety (216 pounds).
2. DL Levi Onwuzurike.
Onwuzurike was finally 100% healthy this season, and it showed. His traditional surface stats won’t blow your mind (28 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, one tackle for loss), but he did have 13 quarterback pressures (according to Pro Football Reference), and Pro Football Focus ranked him as a top-25 defensive tackle in the NFL.According to PFF, his pass-rush win rate of 12.5% ranked him among the top 15 defensive tackles.
“Onwuzurike has flashed whenever he’s been healthy during his first four seasons in the league, after being draughted one round ahead of recently extended interior defender Alim McNeill in 2021. The former second-round pick from Washington is the penetrating three-technique interior pass-rusher that every team covets, with a 12.5% pass-rush win rate in 2024 ranking among the top-15 at the position.”
-Professional Football Focus
One fully healthy season, no matter how good it was, will not allow Onwuzurike to completely break the bank in free agency (PFF projects a two-year, $16.5 million contract with $10 million guaranteed). However, he has most likely priced himself out of the Lions’ ability to re-sign him, leaving the Jets (and Glenn) as an easy landing spot.
1. CB Carlton Davis.
Davis proved to be the Lions’ ideal veteran cornerback this season, with his skills (77.0 passer rating allowed, 11 pass breakups) and swagger. He also finished the season sidelined with a broken jaw, continuing a run of injuries dating back to his time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has missed at least four games in each of the previous four seasons, and durability concerns persist as players age.
During the Lions’ season-ending press conference on Thursday, general manager Brad Holmes acknowledged Davis’ outstanding performance and stated that no contract talks are currently underway.
“I thought we got some great play from him. I’ll be honest, I thought he played better this year than the previous year, or last year in Tampa, and he’ll tell you the same thing,” Holmes said. “So, no intense action yet, but we’re very aware of it and we’ll go through our normal process.”
Sauce Gardner is obviously the Jets’ top cornerback. However, D.J. Reed, a running mate, is a free agent and appears to be seeking new opportunities.
“I’m ready for free agency, bro. “I’m ready to see what’s next for me,” Reed told Tyler Dunne on The Go Long podcast late this season.
Davis is an obvious replacement for Reed if the Jets must go that route, almost too easy, given his connection to Glenn and familiarity with the new defensive scheme. The Lions must strike a balance between Davis’ age (28) and how many years and money they can commit to him, which will be difficult given that he is likely to have multiple suitors.
Davis may want to stay in Detroit. However, Glenn’s attraction to the Jets, assuming they are interested, appears to be strong.
