Jose Mourinho is preparing for a ‘great’ Premier League comeback, as West Ham set to initiate discussions
Jose Mourinho may soon return to the Premier League with West Ham.
Mourinho, who was fired by Fenerbahce before the new Super Lig season, is reportedly interested in joining West Ham.
Graham Potter’s future at West Ham is questionable, but a 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest has improved his case.
According to Alan Brazil, Mourinho’s representative will contact West Ham about a potential move to the London Stadium.
If Potter is fired, Mourinho appears to be a potential replacement, as the Hammers are reportedly in talks with the former Real Madrid manager.
This piece has unique comments from former manager Martin Allen.
West Ham could gain from Jose Mourinho’s appointment.
There is no denying that the Portuguese head coach has extensive expertise and is widely regarded as one of the best in the game.
As a result, with Mourinho potentially in London ahead of a West Ham move, the Irons could seize the opportunity.
Despite his well-known status, the former Chelsea player’s tactical approach and lack of attractive football may raise concerns.
This isn’t a problem for former Premier League midfielder Allen, who believes the claret and blue supporters are now more concerned with points than style of play.
Allen, speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, stated: “He’s always been a fantastic organiser with difficult-to-beat teams.”
“That’s been his way. Fans would be satisfied if he continued to play in this manner and maintained his Premier League status.
“I think, right now, every fan would say, ‘Who cares about the style of play? We want points. He always finds a way to do it.
“If West Ham are looking for a new manager and he’s available, then he’s one they would certainly talk to.”
West Ham are already on high alert to hire Mourinho.

Jose Mourinho wants to return to London and the Premier League one day
Jose Mourinho hopes to return to London and the Premier League someday. Jose Mourinho might begin initial West Ham talks.
As things stand, Potter’s position appears secure following an unexpectedly impressive victory over Nottingham Forest.
This may all change after the international break, as Tottenham, Crystal Palace, and Everton face off in the Premier League.

If that is the case, Mourinho appears to be willing to take on the role if given the opportunity, which might result in very early conversations while Potter is still in the job.
