Lindsey Vonn’s dating history: A look at her past relationships and current status
While Lindsey Vonn is best known as one of the most successful alpine skiers in Olympic history, public curiosity about her life off the slopes has always been strong. Fans have followed her sporting achievements for years, but many are equally interested in her personal relationships. Over time, Vonn has been linked with several high-profile figures from the worlds of sport and entertainment.
Here is a closer look at Lindsey Vonn’s dating history, including her most notable relationships.
Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods (2013–2015)
Lindsey Vonn’s most publicized relationship was with golf legend Tiger Woods. The pair first met at a charity event in 2012 and officially confirmed their relationship in March 2013, when Vonn shared the news on social media. From that point on, they were frequently seen together at golf tournaments, red-carpet events, and public appearances.
Their relationship lasted just over two years before coming to an end in May 2015. Vonn later explained that the breakup was largely due to the demanding nature of both of their careers. With packed schedules and constant travel, maintaining the relationship became increasingly difficult. She described their lives as extremely busy, with both of them fully committed to their professional goals.
Lindsey Vonn and Alexander Ludwig (2016)
In early 2016, Lindsey Vonn was briefly linked to actor Alexander Ludwig. The relationship surfaced in April but remained largely private, with neither party making public statements about their time together. By May of that year, the pair had quietly gone their separate ways. Due to the discreet nature of the relationship, few details ever emerged.
Lindsey Vonn and Kenan Smith (2016–2017)
Later in 2016, Vonn began dating former NFL assistant coach Kenan Smith. Their relationship became more visible, with the couple attending several high-profile events together, including the 2017 French Open. They remained together until November 2017.
The relationship eventually ended due to practical challenges rather than personal conflict. Time apart, conflicting schedules, and long-distance commitments were cited as the main reasons for their split.
Lindsey Vonn and P.K. Subban (2018–2020)
One of Vonn’s most serious relationships was with NHL star P.K. Subban. The two began dating in April 2018 and quickly became a prominent sports power couple. Their relationship reached a major milestone when Subban proposed to Vonn in August 2019. The couple celebrated their engagement publicly, with a second proposal taking place later that year in December.
Despite plans for the future, the engagement did not last. In December 2020, Vonn and Subban announced they had ended both their engagement and relationship. They explained that over time they had grown apart and mutually decided to move on.
Lindsey Vonn and Diego Osorio (2021–2025)
In May 2021, Lindsey Vonn confirmed she was dating Diego Osorio, a Mexican actor and entrepreneur. The couple were frequently seen together in public, attending NBA games and appearing at various events, particularly in New York City. Their relationship was well-documented through photos and public outings.
After several years together, Vonn confirmed in February 2025 that she and Osorio had ended their relationship. She subtly acknowledged the split by sharing that she would be spending Valentine’s Day with her dogs, signaling a new chapter in her personal life.
