The 29-year-old further stated that, while winning 100 World Cups is a great accomplishment, she hopes to do more for young impoverished children through her foundation. She wrote:

“To commemorate this triumph, I am contributing $10,000 to the Share Winter Foundation in support of our $100,000 target for kids learn-to-ski and snowboard programs. I view this 100-victory talk as an opportunity to draw more attention and, perhaps, greater enthusiasm to the sport. Winning 100 is about me—it’s about my career and everything I’ve done to get there, with the help of my teammates, sponsors, and supporters.”

She also added:

“It’s incredible of course, but I’d like to take this opportunity to turn the spotlight to something bigger and far more important than me”
