PROFESSOR OF ROCK Illuminates the Classic of LED ZEPPELIN – “A Scorched Earth Vocal Instant Classic” (Video)
The video below, which is accompanied by the following introduction, was released by Professor Of Rock.
“The release of Led Zeppelin’s debut album caused an earthquake throughout the entire world.” A choir of this nature had never been heard before. They invaded the United States, touring relentlessly in support of their groundbreaking album. Their label implored them to expedite the acquisition of album #2. Their second album was released mere months after their début. Unheard of in the realm of music at that time… However, the label maintained them on the road in order to expedite the release of the second album. They were so overwhelmed that they were compelled to record it in 13 distinct studios located throughout the globe. Ramble On, a masterful feel-good classic, was born from this second record and was inspired by a classic novel. With a scorched earth vocal and scorching guitar and percussion, Ramble On became an instant classic. played on… well, nobody is entirely certain what the percussionist was playing… We will endeavour to resolve that matter today… The band’s most cherished song, Ramble On, was never performed live until they performed it at a one-off concert nearly 40 years after their dissolution. This was the sole instance of the band performing it live. They were so huge that they declined Woodstock’s request. The following episode of Professor of Rock is an exceptional one.
