Rangers are in advanced discussions over a confidential agreement. – Chris Jack

Chris Jack claims that Rangers are in advanced negotiations to play at Hampden Park while construction is ongoing at Ibrox.

According to Jack’s article published on July 10th in the Rangers Review, an announcement is anticipated in the next several days.

Due to protracted delays in the stadium’s reconstruction, the Giants will begin the 2024–2025 season away from Ibrox (via Rangers Review, June 20).

Rangers and Philippe Clement are scheduled to play at Hampden Park.

This is by no means the best situation for the club.

Though nothing compares to the energy of over 50,000 Rangers fans packing Ibrox, Hampden Park is arguably the greatest substitute.

The Scotland national stadium can hold up to 50,000 spectators, and the players of the club will be accustomed to playing there.

Hampden Park is a decent place to call home temporarily for the Gers as they get ready to begin their campaigns in the Scottish Premiership and UEFA Champions League away from Ibrox.

Most importantly, it appears that a plan is currently in place.

Fans will just be happy that some clarification has been given as they have been left in the dark for weeks over the club’s opening match venue.

Although Hampden Park isn’t Ibrox, the supporters can definitely create a heated environment as the Gers want to start as strongly as possible.

As Jury travels on Philippe Clement’s transfer business, Rangers biggest signings are still to arrive

Back to run the rule over all the major issues in Scottish football and beyond, the Monday Jury

Of Rangers’ current acquisitions, which will most affect their season?

KEITH: To attract young players who might produce a significant profit at some point in the future, Rangers have been on a rather fishing trip thus far this summer. And considering the paucity of assets on last season’s team, that is wise business. For the here and the now, Philippe Clement needs three or four seasoned recruits, though. Next season’s main additions will be these ones.

Andy: Given most of the additions remain unknown numbers who will need time to settle to Scotland, it’s difficult to know. But after leaving Aberdeen, Connor Barron should start running right away; I hope he settles in fast.

SCOTT: Connor Barron boasts the most league experience. He is striking the ground and running; you can see him knowing what it takes. The others might adopt to fit.

In the Euro 2024 semis it is Spain against France and Netherlands against England. Whose going to take home the trophy?

KEITH JACKSON: Get ready, England will be playing in Berlin with another opportunity to bring all Scottish nightmares to life. The good news is that they will come up short once more and run across a proper side, perhaps Spain or France. My money goes to the Spaniards so they may prevail once more.

ANDY Newcastle:Spain has been the tournament team thus far; they will fancie themselves to pass the French and take on England, who will surely boring the Dutch to death in their semi-final. Fortunately, La Liga’s brilliant players Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams do not fit the kind to be suppressed by Southgate’s stuffy policies, therefore sparing us all the suffering of a Three Lions victory.

Although Spain has been the greatest team to watch, France and England have both managed to advance without playing brilliantly. If that motif ends, I would be taken aback. Given push comes first, I still believe the French will prevail.

Could Celtic do better or should they sign Paulo Bernardo?

KEITH: Bernardo has showed in fleeting flashes that he may be really prominent at Parkhead. For this reason he’s worth a punt. Given his distance from the final piece, the cost would have to be reasonable though.

ANDY: Only if the money makes sense. Though it wasn’t nearly enough to support the £6 million Benfica believes he is worth, the Portuguese ace displayed flashes of attacking threat. Negotiate the cost down by a few million dollars; the deal is worth investigating.

SCOTT: He is not a player I would be splurging on. Although he has promise, he hasn’t particularly soared at Celtic. Though I wouldn’t be going all out to get him. I most definitely would not be spending more than £4 million.

Starting next week, the Premier Sports Cup group stage Who would be likely to win it?

With another league title under hand, Celtic rule the roost once Brendan Rodgers has had a challenging first season out of the way. Stocking the first prize of the season in the cabinet marks the beginning of a season of supremacy.

ANDY: The Old Firm will be favourites as usual, but likes of Aberdeen and Hearts should give this battle top importance. When they reached the semi-finals last year, hearts constricted; the Dons cannot honestly claim they had a shot at Rangers in the championship either.

SCOTT: Celtic and Rangers will be odd on. I still believe that Hearts and Aberdeen both have dark horse potential.

Copa America star gets near to summer transfer in fresh Rangers update

Among the players connected to Rangers from Latin America recently is Thomas Galdames.

Following the breakdown of the Jose Cordoba deal, 25-year-old Chileno defender from Ibrox was highlighted as a transfer target for initially unidentified Belgian teams.

In recent seasons, there has been an effort to develop the athletic 6ft Chilean into an aggressive left-back alternative; he is a natural center-back.

As Thomas Galdames gets ready to depart Godoy Cruz, there is a lot of gossip about him.

Following Chile’s exit from the Copa America, Galdames is prepared to make his next decision after the conversation about the player’s future stopped by the tournament.

Now a Belgian newspaper has been offering an update on the interest of Rangers in the defender and future developments.

Galdames closing in on a move.

Back in June, it was reported that Royal Antwerp, a Belgian team, is closely monitoring Thomas Galdames this summer.

According to the research, Rangers and the Pro League team were scheduled to fight for the defender’s signature in this transfer season.

Voetbal Nieuws have been offering a fresh report on the linkages, and shockingly, it seems that Royal Antwerp, not Rangers, is the destination, which is edging closer.

After negotiating a contract for Argentine left-sided Independiente defender Ayrton Costa, Antwerp is now said to be closing in on a double South American swoop.

With the Great Old looking to improve the left-back area of their team ahead of the new season, the circumstances involving Chilean center-back Thomas Galdames is a little more complicated.

Rangers’ interest in Galdames allegedly “cooled” with Antwerp in pole position to seize “advantage” from the circumstances.

Voetbal Nieuws estimates a deal to bring Galdames to Belgium is currently very much in the “pipeline,” even with Rangers perhaps absent from the scene.

Summer of left-back instability for Rangers

Although Thomas Galdames has a good profile, Rangers already want to have moved elsewhere.

After Borna Barisic left for Trabzonspor, the club brought Brazilian left-back Jefte to their ranks this summer.

Turkish variantRidvan Yilmaz is also expected to remain at Rangers next season despite connections to recently promoted Bundesliga team St Pauli.

Along with the defender enticed to move from AC Milan with the lure of first-team play, Rangers have included gifted left-sided centre-back Clinton Nsiala, 20, to their roster.

Another choice in the post and on a reasonable salary is Ben Davies, who has clearly been advised to leave the club.

Rangers are therefore at least well-stocked on the left-side of defence, and Thomas Galdames would have fierce competition to break through into the lineup.

Simultaneously, perhaps the club would rue a missed opportunity to acquire the Chilean if the defender moves to Antwerp and Rangers experiences more turbulence in this area of the team.

Ibrox View: Rangers player may now be able to leave after club agrees to £7.6m summer move

This summer, Sam Lammers’ time with Rangers will come to an end. However, it is still not clear where the Dutchman will go next.

After his loan spell with FC Utrecht [The Fourth Official, 2 July], the forward is said to want to go back to the Netherlands [Rangers Review, 30 May], but reports say the Eredivisie club won’t be able to match the Light Blues’ asking price.

Other clubs in the division have now joined the race, and it has been said that AZ Alkmaar is thinking about making a £2.5 million offer to Philippe Clement to try to get him to let go [Football Scotland, 2 July].

It looks like Lammers may still be able to go back to Utrecht, though, as Voetbal International reporter Marco Timmer shared new information about their current trade plans.

For a transfer fee of around €9 million (£7.6 million), he wrote in X on July 5: “The deal had been in the works for a while, but PSV and FC Utrecht have finally agreed to terms on Ryan Flamingo.”

Will Sam Lammers leave Rangers? There are more and more rumours about a move to Ibrox.

It is said that Utrecht will get £7.6 million for Flamingo this summer. If that happens, they may have to stretch their transfer budget a bit further to pay Lammers’ salary and match Rangers’ asking price.

The Dutch club will probably first try to find a new centre back for 21 years old before adding to their striking options. However, that fee would be more than enough to get the Gers to let go of the 27-year-old.

In the past, Utrecht’s leaders have said that they would love to keep Lammers forever. That wasn’t always possible because of money issues, but this latest transfer news may make it possible.

Still, there are a few things that need to be taken care of before this deal can get moving again. It may not have been as final as first thought when it was said that the Dutchman could no longer play in Utrecht.

A possible move back to Holland may be closer than ever and more doable.

A deal worth £3.5 million that was said to be in “advanced stages” takes an unexpected turn for Rangers

Rangers has had a good start to the transfer window, giving Philippe Clement’s team a younger look.

There needed to be a change in the squad, but there are rumours on social media that there aren’t enough top players.

It was said that Nils Koppen was “advanced stages” of talks with a winger who would go straight into the manager’s team and has a history of getting goals.

Rangers will have to fight for Adama Traore.

Since then, things have been quiet, and only Oscar Cortes has been confirmed as a “new” face for next season.

A return to Ibrox is still very much on the cards for Ianis Hagi, who has been playing very well in the European Championships. His future is still uncertain.

The Romanian player was at his best on the right wing, where he scored 23 goals and set up another 36 in 36 starts during Rangers’ last championship season.

Hagi isn’t a true left, though, and Clement wants that kind of ball player.

Even though the Gers manager didn’t have many choices last season, he would always go back to pace and natural wide guys.

According to Africa Foot, Adama Traore is leaving Ferencvaros after two years where he scored 32 goals and set up 16 others in 73 games. Rangers are very interested in him, but NB1 from Hungary says that Panathanaikos is also interested in making a move.

Traore checks Philippe Clement’s box for more training at Rangers.

Traore has both skill and knowledge, which is something Clement has hinted will be coming soon:

“We were focused on everything, but it’s easier to bring in young players early on. For the rest of the transfer window, more experienced players will come in, too, and we need a good balance between the two in the squad and the team.”

I think we have found some really exciting young players for the future of this club. It was important to find them.

Traore would be a big improvement for Rangers’ attack on the right side. He is said to be one of the fastest players in the world, with a top speed similar to Kylian Mbappe.

Even though speed is important, the fact that the 28-year-old Mali international can also finish makes him a great addition, even if the price is around £3.5m.

The first group of players has arrived at Ibrox. They all meet certain standards for players who can help the first team and who will also make money for the club in the future.

The second must be players like Traore who will get fans excited and make them believe the team is in better shape than it was at the end of last season.

Three Scottish teams want to sign a Rangers player because of his good play

Players from other teams want to sign the Rangers player.

After having a good end to last season, three Scottish teams are interested in Rangers goalkeeper Jay Hogarth.

The keeper is in-demand

Before joining Dumbarton for the second part of last season, the player had been on loan at Alloa from the academy. He played 22 times as the Sons made it back to League One from the fourth level. Hogarth now has choices in that league.

In the Daily Record, it is said that Queen of the South, Arbroath, and Kelty Hearts all want to sign him.Rangers is looking into loan options for the 20-year-old to give him more experience with the main team.

Since back-up Jon McLaughlin left, senior manager Philippe Clement now has Jack Butland, Liam Kelly, Robby McCrorie, and Kieran Wright to choose from in goal. Rangers and Dumbarton had agreed, for the first time, that Hogarth could play against his parent club for the Sons in the Scottish Cup last season. However, the plan was dropped.

He said last season, “Believe it or not, both clubs agreed to let him play, but the rules don’t let him play.” The fact that Jay played on Saturday didn’t bother either Rangers or Dumbarton. But the league’s rules say that a loan player can’t play in the cup match.

“I believe that needs to be looked at again because for Jay, as for any other young player coming from an Old Firm or Premiership club, it’s all about growth.” They should be able to play in big games, like cup matches, even if it’s against his own club. That way, he’ll have better experiences when he goes back to his home club. I believe it is something that the governing groups should look into and talk over.

The Dutch link that brought the new Ibrox player to Rangers amid Clement’s “exciting” strategy

Andries Ulderink has been added to Rangers coaching staff (Image: Voetbal International)

The 54-year-old has a long history as a teacher that goes back to the 1990s.

Rangers revealed earlier today that Andries Ulderink would be their new assistant manager, which made Philippe Clement’s backroom staff stronger. The Dutch coach brings together Stephan Van Der Hayden, who is currently No. 2 at Ibrox, Alex Rae, Brian Gilmour, and Colin Stewart, who is the goalkeeping coach, to work with the first team.

Ulderink was most recently an assistant coach at Royal Antwerp in Belgium. He has also worked as a coach at FC Twente and Ajax in the Eredivisie and with Japp Stam at Reading in England from 2016 to 2018. Earlier, he was in charge of Ajax Cape Town but had to step down because the club’s technical director got into a fight with the South African boss.

“I am really excited to join Rangers as assistant manager and I am looking forward to the challenge,” Ulderink told the club’s website after he had joined. As I thought about it, I kept in mind that it was a great club with a lot of history and Dutch ties. In Scotland, especially at Rangers, football is played very hard, so that was important to me too.

“I talked to the manager about football, his goals, and his vision. He also told me a bit about the staff and the club. It was exciting, and I’m glad to be here.”

“I am thrilled to have Andries join our backroom staff before the new season,” Clement said. He has been a teacher for a long time and has learned a lot from working all over Europe. In the past few weeks, we’ve had some great talks, and I’m excited to work with him.

“Having a strong group of coaches behind me is important to me, and Andries will be a great addition to the team we already have in the building as we get ready for another big season.”

Top goal scorer agrees a two-year contract to sign for Rangers

Scott Burns says that Rangers will soon make the news public that Liam Kelly has signed a two-year deal to join the team.

On Thursday (27 June), the Scottish Express writer wrote on his X account that the Scottish international had signed a two-year deal with Philippe Clement’s team after leaving Motherwell.

Kelly will be the fourth player the Belgian has brought in this summer. The Gers manager wants to make the team his own and close the gap to Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Chris Jack revealed on June 27 that the 28-year-old had checked out with the Light Blues and passed his medical without any problems. It now looks like the transfer will be official soon.

When will Rangers say that they have signed Liam Kelly after Motherwell leaves?

Kelly may not have been back from Germany for long after Scotland’s poor exit from Euro 2024, but he moved quickly to complete his move to Ibrox in time for the start of the next season.

There are no plans for the stopper to replace Jack Butland in goal right away in Glasgow, but the Gers need some extra backup since Jon McLaughlin is leaving and Robby McCrorie’s future is uncertain.

Kelly is good enough to keep up with Butland in a tough game, and he’s also ready to fill in on the field when he gets back to Ibrox. It really does feel like this is the best transfer for everyone concerned.

Fans should not have to wait too long for the official news to come out from the club. Once that happens, the focus can shift to signing more players, since Clement and his team are just getting started this summer.

Report says the forward will turn down a £2 million move to Rangers because moving to Ibrox is not his “preference”

Rangers are only trying, so don’t blame them.

Since Rangers’ 2023–24 season finished with a whimper of regret instead of a roar of silver-coated glory, Philippe Clement has lost his first and second-choice left wingers in Abdallah Sima and Fabio Silva, who were both loaned out.

Even though Oscar Cortes is back from RC Lens and Rabbi Matondo is already there, Rangers are still looking for another. One who might be able to copy Sima’s amazing return when coming in from the side.

Numerous of the necessary conditions are met by Couhaib Driouech. From the left, eight goals and eight helpers might not be as scary as Sima’s. He worked for a team fighting at the bottom, though, not a team fighting at the top.

Excelsior beat NEC Breda badly in the Eredivisie play-offs to avoid going down.

Since Driouech’s deal ends in just 12 months, he is also likely to be available for a small fee. We’ll tell you what the catch is before you ask.

Not having the chance to join Dutch winners PSV Eindhoven in January did not make Driouech very happy. After six months, Driouech’s dream destination hasn’t changed, even though Rangers, Sporting Lisbon, Lens, and other teams have thrown their hats into the ring (FC Update).

According to Couhaib Driouech, Rangers is not his first choice club.

A very trustworthy Dutch reporter named Rik Elfrink tells Eindhovens Dagblad that the attacker wants to go to Eindhoven and is ready to wait until a deal is made.

It’s been weeks since PSV wanted to sign Couhaib Driouech, but they still haven’t made a deal with his current team, Excelsior. Other clubs are also interested, but PSV is his first choice.

According to Elfrink, PSV want to complete a deal worth £1.7 million. Last season, PSV easily won the Eredivisie title, in part thanks to the “incredible talent” of Malik Tillman, who used to be on loan from Rangers.

The Excelsior is still asking for a bigger fee. But because Driouech is stuck in a deal and clearly wants to move to Eindhoven, Excelsior aren’t exactly in a strong position when they negotiate.

winger in the Eredivisie wants to move to PSV Eindhoven ahead of other options

Elfrink also says, “PSV wants to pay more than two million euros to sign Driouech.” The Excelsior wants more, though.

“Earnest Stewart, the technical director of PSV, is not in a big hurry.” PSV will start getting ready for the new season next week, and they’d like Driouech to join them. However, the first game of the new season won’t happen until August 4.

“Separation between Excelsior and PSV is unknown.” Perhaps one to two million euros a few weeks ago. The club has been told by PSV that it does not plan to pay the amount that was bid on Driouech in the winter.

“This is partly because of his contract situation. Driouech’s contract ends in the middle of 2025, so Excelsior needs to get rid of him this summer in order to get a fair price.”

While PSV and Excelsior are still very far apart, Rangers will always have the chance to sneak in and make a move of their own.

Driouech has already waited six months for Excelsior to let him make his dream move, so he probably won’t be in a hurry now. The long story could end in just a few weeks or even days.

Report: Player was seen at Auchenhowie, and Rangers are expected to pay a £525,000 transfer fee

The Daily Record says that Connor Barron, who recently signed with Rangers, was seen at Auchenhowie after completing a permanent move to Ibrox.

The news source said on June 24 that Gers still have to pay Aberdeen a £525,000 fee unless they go to court and try their luck.

That’s because the Dons should get paid because the 21-year-old came up through their academy and played 76 times for the first team.

Connor Barron will want to make the Rangers first team all the time.

After moving from Aberdeen, the 21-year-old midfielder will be eager to make a name for himself as a regular member of the first team at Ibrox.

Because of his experience and skills, he could make a big difference right away in the next season.

Barron’s ability to switch between different midfield roles could be very helpful for Philippe Clement.

The midfielder’s first impressions in preseason training will be very important. To show Clement that he deserves a spot in the starting lineup, he will need to show off his technical skills, tactical knowledge, and physical fitness.

Barron has already played in the Scottish Premiership with Aberdeen, which will help him quickly get used to the demands of playing for a top team like Rangers.

Connor Barron

Rangers signed Connor Barron on a free transfer

Additionally, Barron’s ability to grow even more with Clement’s help could be a big plus in his favour.

There will be sales of Ibrox stars after the player passes his medical to join Rangers, according to a report

The Scottish Sun says that Hamza Igamane passed a medical before Rangers made their official announcement that he would be joining the team at Ibrox.

On Saturday, June 22, the newspaper said on their website that Igamane, who is 21 years old, had agreed to join Govan on a five-year deal after leaving FAR Rabat in Morocco.

It is expected that he will be named Philippe Clement’s fifth summer signing within the next 48 hours. A fee of £2.5 million has already been agreed upon.

This summer, Jefte, Oscar Cortes, Clinton Nsiala, and Connor Barron have all already signed with Rangers. Also, Mohamed Diomande’s loan deal has been turned into a permanent one.

A lot of players could now leave Ibrox, according to The Scottish Sun. James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, and Todd Cantwell are all names that could be cut.

Who is Hamza Igamane, the new player that Rangers bought?

Igamane is not a player that Rangers fans would have known about before he was linked with a move to Ibrox this summer.

The 21-year-old is a striker who scored seven goals in 23 games across all competitions for FAR Rabat last season, helping them finish second in the Botola Pro, which is Morocco’s top league. He scored six goals in 18 league games in 2022–23, and his team won the title, making him the club’s youngest champion ever.

It’s clear that the Scottish Premiership is a step up from the Moroccan top flight, which is thought to be the best league in Africa. However, coming in having already won a title is a good thing. There are also some huge stadiums in Morocco that have very hostile atmospheres. Igamane will have been even better prepared for the Old Firm, which is like a pressure cooker.

Igamane has also won a lot of international games. With Morocco, he won the U23 African Cup of Nations.

There will definitely be a change in culture when I move from Rabat to Glasgow. Rabat is a city known for its scorching heat and beautiful architecture. But he has shown signs of being someone who has grown up in the country where he was born and is likely to cause trouble in Europe.

‘He’ll go to…’: A former teammate talks about what a £5 million Rangers target told him about the summer transfer period

Soon after signing Mohammed Diomande in January, Philippe Clement said that Ibrox might not be the end of the midfielder’s journey.

“Certainly (he can do better)” “Not just the next few weeks, but also the months and years,” Clement said of the Ivory Coast player who was brought in on loan from Nordsjaelland.”He’s a very good player, and I don’t think Rangers will be his last stop.”

„Of course, you need some luck with injuries to make it in this business. He will take bigger steps, though, if he stays away from that.

Would Albion Rrahmani join Diomande on the blue side of Glasgow? If so, could he also begin a journey that takes him to the top of the European game?

Rangers have kept Talks with Alboon Rrahmani

The Rapid Bucharest striker, who is worth £7 million, has a lot of drive and talent.

Rangers are said to have started talking two weeks ago. It is said that Director Nils Koppen met with Rrahmani’s agent in Mexico.

It looks more likely than not that the Romanian group will split up this summer. A number was given by Rapid co-owner Vincent Angelescu: the player with the most goals (19) was “80%” likely to have a new club by the start of next season.

Which club, though?

Rrahmani and Alexandru Albu played together at Rapid, but Albu didn’t say for sure where the Kosovo international would end up. But, like with Diomande, he thinks that Rrahmani could go beyond the level of the Scottish Premiership in the next few years.

“He is a valuable player, and it is hard for valuable players to stay in our championship,” Albu tells Orange Sport. “If he leaves, I’m sure he will go to a big team.”

“What the player decides is very important here, not just what the club decides, because the player also wants to prove that he is a great football player.” Rachanani wants to get as high as he can.

“He told me that he wants to get to a top team.” This means “top ten (in Europe)”

Rangers are also interested in Hamza Igamane.

In that case, Rangers might be a smart move in the right direction. After winning the Golden Boot with Ballkani in Kosovo and then being just as productive in Romania, Rrahmani’s skills would be seen by a lot more people if he played for Rangers in Europe.

That’s why Albu is sure that the 23-year-old poacher can do anything.

The player who left Rapid Bucharest at the end of last season says, “He is very good, and I think he can get to the top of the European game.” “But take it one step at a time.”

Sport Bull, a Romanian newspaper, says that Rangers think Rrahmani is worth £5 million. Rapid, on the other hand, want around £7 million. The real amount may be somewhere in the middle, though.

What the Rangers’ pursuit of Hamza Igamane means for that Rrahmani chase, on the other hand, is still unknown. The Daily Record says the RAF Rabat forward will cost less than £2 million. Will there be room at Ibrox for another number nine?

Even though Kemar Roofe has already left, Clement can use both Cyriel Dessers and Danilo. Will someone have to move to make room for two new people?

It’s not likely that Rangers will sign a “young player with enormous potential” to play with Clement again

Any hopes the Rangers still had of signing a player who won a championship in one of Europe’s major leagues last season went up in smoke on Wednesday.

Around the end of last year, Rangers’ pursuit of the 19-year-old midfielder seemed more and more likely to lead to a deal.

TEAMtalk says that the Glasgow giants were in the running for Noah Mbamba. He is a Belgium Under-21 player and used to work with Philippe Clement at Club Brugge in Belgium.

Also, it was Clement who gave Mbamba his first senior game when he was only 16. He even played against Manchester City in the Champions League, when most of his friends would have been thinking about high school and college.

According to Clement three years ago, “He shows a lot every day in training.”

You should be careful because he has worked hard. There is still a long way to go. I’ll do the same thing with him as I did with Charles De Ketelaere, who finally joined AC Milan for £30 million. Give him time to play and let him grow without expecting too much from him. We need to help him grow little by little.

Rangers will not be getting Noah Mbamba.

Leverkusen didn’t give him many chances to play for the first team, so joining Rangers and working with a coach he knew well seemed like the next best thing. But Rangers chose to sign Mohammed Diomande from Nordsjaelland instead in January of the next year.

It is now expected that the Glasgow giants will also sign Connor Barron, who is no longer under contract.

After the Mbamba rumours died down, Bundesliga newcomers Fortuna Dusseldorf jumped at the chance to sign the teenager for the 2024–25 season.

Mbamba only played three times during Leverkusen’s Bundesliga-winning season under Xabi Alonso. He will play for Fortuna on loan this season.

On the official website, Klaus Allofs, Board Member for Sport and Communication, talks about Fortuna’s new player as “a young player with enormous potential.” “We’re confident that he will do very well in our setting and quickly make our team stronger.”

“We had to take the chance to loan a player with this much talent, even though we don’t have the option to buy.”

Young star from Bayer Leverkusen goes on loan

Rangers have not come back for Mbamba, which may surprise some people. Even more so now that John Lundstram and Ryan Jack have left. Diomande had already shown that he was worthy of a permanent move to Ibrox, and Barron came with a track record in the Scottish game. It’s possible that a 19-year-old who had barely played any senior football in 2023–24 was seen as too much of a risk.

Fortuna, on the other hand, clearly thought that the possible benefits were greater than those worries.

Christian Weber, Fortuna’s sporting director, says, “With Noah, we’re getting a player who can play in a lot of different positions in the middle and who has great physical and football skills.”

“Because he is so good for Leverkusen, he has only been used occasionally lately.” Despite his youth, he has already shown his skill at the highest level. He should now take the next step in his development by practicing matches with us on a regular basis.

Rangers is also getting close to signing Liam Kelly, a former Motherwell custodian. Also, a striker is likely to come in. Albion Rrahmani from Rapid Bucharest and Hamza Igamame

from RAF Rabat are both being considered.

An insider says the Gers will be able to have their cake and eat it too, since Koppen is linked to two exciting strikers

When it comes to Rangers, strikers are like Glasgow buses.

After waiting a long time for one, two show up at once.

Fans of Rangers are hoping that this will happen because of the high-profile links to both Hamza Igamane and Albion Rrahmani.

Rangers are almost done with a £1.7 million deal to sign Hamza Igamane from FAR Rabat in Morocco. The news came out over the weekend.

This deal has Ibrox fans more and more excited as time has gone on and more clips have been watched. The player is thought to be one of the best young strikers in the world.

People worry that the deal has stopped people from wanting to hire Rapid Bucharest’s Kosovan hitman Albion Rrahmani.

The president of the Romanian club laughing a bid all the way out of Bucharest hasn’t helped this idea.

The situation has been talked over by Four Lads Had a Dream’s Stevie Clifford, who is a leading Rangers insider. He isn’t sure these two transfers are connected.

“Rangers are after number nines.”

His Four Lads Had a Dream website is one of the most well-known Ibrox fan sites. Stevie Clifford is known to have close ties to Rangers.

Clifford talked about the Rangers’ ties to Hamza Igamane and Albion Rrahmani on the platform’s most recent podcast.

This summer, the host of “Four Lads Had a Dream” confirmed that Rangers are looking for more firepower. He also said that the Gers might play with four strikers next season.

It comes as Danilo comes back from injury and Cyriel Dessers, who is currently the ninth player, is not in a hurry to leave.

“Rangers are interested in nines for sure,” Clifford said on the podcast.

“The bid for Rrahmani may not have been enough, and they’ve moved on.” We’ll find out when the time comes.

“I believe we need two nines and Danilo to join the team.” I also don’t think Cyriel Dessers is too eager to move.

What are Igamane, Rahamani, Danilo, and Dessers?

You can understand why Rangers fans might have thought that the news about Hamza Igamane might have hurt Albion Rrahmani.

After all, Rangers had been linked to the Kosovan striker for a long time this summer.

But Football Scotland says Rangers are still “in pole position” to sign the forward this summer, which makes the links to Igamane more interesting.

Rangers’ front line will definitely get bigger before next season if they can make a deal for both players. Danilo and Cyriel Dessers will also be there.

Fans will have to “watch this space” until any deals are official, but for now, Stevie Clifford’s comments will only make them want to learn more.

It’s now up to Nils Koppen and Philippe Clement to close the deals before next week’s start of pre-season training.

Apparently £3m Rangers star put himself in the shop window after admitting he wanted to leave Ibrox

Sometime during Ianis Hagi’s time with the Rangers, it looked like he was going to be the best player in the world.

Rangers pulled off something of a coup when they signed the kid on loan from KRC Genk in January 2020. He was once one of the most promising young players in Europe.

Ianis Hagi showed he was very talented with a stunning comeback double in the Europa League win over Braga. A few months later, we signed him to a permanent deal for £3 million.

After a season and a 55th medal, Ianis Hagi was becoming an important part of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox puzzle.

But bad luck struck when Hagi hurt his cruciate ligament, and he has never fully recovered at Rangers.

The playmaker’s future is uncertain because he spent last season on loan at Spanish club Alavés. The 25-year-old has been promoting himself for Euro 2024.

Hagi plays in a romp in Romania

We all know that Ianis Hagi is the son of the famous Romanian playwright Gheorghe Hagi.

This is why it says in the football stars that the attacking midfielder will play at Euro 2024 with Romania this summer.

After scoring the important goal that sent the country to Germany (a fairy tale after the Rangers star’s injury problems), even less playing time in Spain wasn’t likely to stop a call-up.

Now, Hagi has just come off the bench as Romania beats Ukraine 3-0 to get off to a great start in the Euros for the first time since 2016.

In the first half, Nicolae Stanciu scored the first goal for Romania. In the second half, Razvan Marin and Denis Dragus scored the rest of the goals.

After the hour mark, Ianis Hagi came on for Denis Man and was seen leading the celebrations when the game was over.

Future of Rangers not decided

Ianis Hagi said this summer that he wasn’t sure about his future with Rangers, so the Euro 2024 appearance comes as a surprise.

Hagi has said that he is focusing on his duties in Romania, so it’s still not clear what’s going on with him, even though it was thought that he might be going back to Rangers.

Many people at Ibrox aren’t sure what will happen with Ianis’s future, but the playmaker can’t say for sure if he’ll be back at Rangers after the tournament in Germany.

At the beginning of June, Hagi said, “My attention is on the Euros.” “I spoke with my agents, and the heat is on them.”

I want them to know what I want for my future. This summer is very important for me in every way. That’s what I told them before I went to the national team.

“I expect them to do everything they can to help me find the right team and manager.”

“I don’t know if I’ll be at Rangers or somewhere else.” My agents decide what will happen to me.

Ianis Hagi has played 99 games for Rangers and has scored 16 goals and set up 21 others.

The playmaker has also played 36 times for Romania and scored five goals.

Rangers really need to get Damian Garcia after two permanent departures from Ibrox have been confirmed

Derek Ferguson says that every team needs players like Damian Garcia, but Rangers need him more than anyone else right now because they’ve lost two senior midfielders.

On June 5, Football Scotland said that the Light Blues were interested in the Uruguayan midfielder during Philippe Clement’s transfer window.

And after the club confirmed that both John Lundstram and Ryan Jack would be leaving because their contracts were up, the Ibrox midfield looks empty. Ferguson, who used to play in that position, thinks Garcia would be a good addition in the same way that Stuart McCall was.

Jefte, Clinton Nsiala, and Oscar Cortes are the three 20-year-olds that Clement has already signed. Ferguson likes to sign young players from other countries because their desire to make the move shows that they are hungry.

He told Ibrox News only, “They brought him in for a reason; they did their research.”Philippe Clement is doing everything he says he is doing right now with the hiring, with Koppen coming in.

“These young men are being sought out.” When they lose players like Lundstram and Ryan Jack, they miss out on players who could do more than just destroy the other team.

“But this kid looks like the kind of person who likes playing defensive midfield, which is a role I think every team needs.”

“Look at the Rangers.” McCall came to Rangers even after I left. He was great in that part. It was hard for him to let the other team’s playmakers do their jobs because he stopped the game.

“You need that kind of person all the time.” Stuart could play too, and I’m sure this kid can too.

“Obviously, they like something about him, and I like that. Again, as a young 20-year-old, he’ll be hungry and have a lot to prove, and I think that’s what we need at Rangers.”

“I love the hunger of young players, but we need to find the right balance. You can’t just bring in all young players.” To see how good they are, they’re ready to go to another country.

Ryan Jack and John Lundstram leave the Rangers because their contracts are up.

Rangers John Lundstram

John Lundstram is one of two Rangers midfielders to leave already along with Ryan Jack.

The news on June 12 that Garcia was going to sign a new deal with Penarol (Dario Alberti) that included a $10 million (£7.9 million) release clause is bad news for Rangers.

Because of how busy Clement and Nils Koppen are at Ibrox this summer, they can’t pay that much, even though John Bennett has said there is money to spend [Daily Record, 14 June]. This means he can’t leave for a cheap price with only a few months left on his contract, but it doesn’t mean a transfer won’t happen.

As for the Light Blues, they need at least two more players in central midfield. If Garcia doesn’t prove to be one of them, they’ll have to move for Connor Barron and keep looking for more players.

Pundit feels bad that Rangers might have to sell first-team player; calls it “horrible and heartbreaking”

Derek Ferguson said that if Kieran Dowell leaves Rangers this summer to go to England, the club will send him their “best wishes.”

As Philippe Clement changes his team, the Gers midfielder’s future is uncertain. In his Daily Record column on June 2, Kenny Miller said he had “no impact” and the manager would be open to offers. Meanwhile, on May 28, Chris Jack wrote for Rangers Review that a return to Scotland “looks on the cards.”

Ferguson, who used to love playing at Ibrox, agrees that the 26-year-old’s move from Norwich a year ago hasn’t worked out after only 16 games in all competitions, most of which came off the bench.

The commentator agrees that injuries are very hard on players, but they insist that the club must be “ruthless” when they try to get better during the transfer window.

He told Ibrox News in an exclusive interview, “Listen, I’m not making fun of boys who are hurt; it must be terrible and heartbreaking for them.” But Rangers have to be cruel, we can’t have that.

“I know it’s a contact sport, but the way things are going, it’s becoming a non-contact sport. You can see a player there, but he doesn’t play enough games and isn’t fit enough.

“That’s why we wish him luck if he goes to England and finds a club there.”

“Nonetheless, it has not occurred to him at Rangers, as it has not occurred to a number of them.”

Rangers Philippe Clement

Philippe Clement has to be “ruthless” with Rangers during the summer transfer window

Rangers need Philippe Clement to be “ruthless” during the summer transfer window.

The move from Norwich to Rangers is hard for Kieran Dowell.

After John Lundstram and Ryan Jack left because their contracts were up, Clement doesn’t have a lot of midfield options, though a deal for Connor Barron could happen soon. But, like Jack, it hasn’t mattered much if Dowell was in the squad or not because he hasn’t been fit to play.

Injuries don’t affect anyone more than the player who gets hurt, but Rangers have had more of a problem with them lately than most teams.

Dowell was a signing by Michael Beale, and when a new manager takes over, players that were brought in by the previous manager may not be available. Since he was a free agent, it might not take a huge offer to get him.

‘We’re saying goodbye’: The club has confirmed that the Rangers target is leaving after receiving a “strong” offer from Ibrox

The truth wasn’t really a secret. However, it’s still good to know for sure. One of the Rangers’ main summer targets will be free this summer.

Free agents aren’t really free, though.

No matter when a player’s contract ends, there are still agent fees, signing-on fees, and wage demands that are often higher because there is no transfer fee. Although Connor Barron won’t get an insanely high signing-on bonus like Kylian Mbappe does when he joins Real Madrid (£85 million), Rangers also wouldn’t be able to just grab the highly-rated midfielder without spending a dime.

The Daily Record says that Rangers would still have to pay Aberdeen a fee, but it would be a lot less than what the player is worth on the market. Rangers could be taken to court if they can’t agree on a fee. Barron is now free to sign a contract at Ibrox.

To get Connor Barron, the Rangers want to win the race.

There is a “strong offer” for Barron to move to Glasgow, and he is likely to decide next week. In the English Championship, Swansea City, Cardiff, Stoke, and Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth Argyle are all fans of him.

Italy is also interested. Bologna, which is going to the Champions League, wants to get into Scottish football again after the success of Aaron Hickey and Lewis Ferguson as captain.

After that, no one knows where Barron is working in 2024 or 25. But Aberdeen is not going to be it.The Dons confirmed on Friday that the Scotland Under-21 international is one of several senior players who will be leaving in July. These players include goalkeeper Kelle Roos and former Celtic winger Jonny Hayes.

A statement on the Aberdeen website says, “Now that the 2023–24 season is over, we can fill you in on our first team squad for the coming season.”

“We are sad to lose Kelle Roos, Connor Barron, Anthony Stewart, and of course Jonny Hayes from our first team.”

“The club made Connor a number of offers to try and keep him at Aberdeen.” He has chosen, though, that his future will be somewhere else.

Aberdeen confirms that their star midfielder is leaving.

Would Barron choose the Rangers? If so, he would do what Scott Wright and Ryan Jack did. It looks like he will be a good fit to replace the latter, since the former Aberdeen captain is leaving the team, making room for an aggressive, all-around central midfielder like Barron.

Barry Ferguson, who has led Rangers to five Scottish Premiership titles, would love to see one of the best young players in the country follow in his royal blue footsteps.

After all, Ferguson has criticised his old team for not making better use of local talent, since Josh Doig, Hickey, and his nephew Lewis all left Scotland to play for other teams.

As the race to sign Barron heats up, Ferguson now tells Go Radio, “I think he’s a good young player.”

“Will he really make the Rangers midfield stronger?” It’s hard when you play for a team like Aberdeen and have a lot of responsibility. What people want and expect…

“But he plays well.” I think I would go with the price and give him a chance. I have been impressed by Aberdeen when I have seen him.

“But going to Rangers is a whole other story.”

Clement’s team also wants to sign another Scottish free agent. In the summer, keeper Liam Kelly will be leaving Livingston.

Rangers to accept big money offer ‘too good to turn down’ for exit-linked defender, according to report

The Rangers Review says that the team might be tempted to take an offer for Ridvan Yilmaz.

The online news source said on June 13 that the Gers are not actively trying to sell the left back in order to make room for summer transfers.

Things might change, though, if the right offer comes along.

It costs money to keep Yilmaz at the club. Philippe Clement wants to spend the rest of his career with the 23-year-old, but that could change if the club gets an offer they “couldn’t refuse.”

Philippe Clement will want to keep Ridvan Yilmaz at Rangers.

This summer, Clement will try to keep Yilmaz.

The defender did a great job for the Belgian until March, when he got hurt and couldn’t play anymore. The fact that the Gers’ form dropped in April and May shows how Yilmaz changed the team.

He has been hurt a lot during his two seasons with the team, but the Rangers Review says that the Gers are sure that those problems will be fixed during pre-season.

If the club keeps Yilmaz, they will have two very good left-back options now that Jefte is there.

That depth could be very important for Clement’s team next season as they try to take the Scottish Premiership away from Celtic.

There have been rumours that Yilmaz might leave the club. On June 10, the Turkish newspaper Sabah said that Besiktas had made an offer to re-sign the player.

Ridvan Yilmaz could remain at Rangers this summer

Yilmaz’s agent, Necdet Ergezen, told Gokmen Ozcan on June 10 that the player has no plans to go back to Turkey right now, which suggests he would be willing to stay at Ibrox.

Rangers to shell out £7.7m to seal new deal

Rangers want to sign Damian Garcia for £7.7 million.

It looks like Rangers will have to pay around £7.7 million to get Penarol midfielder Damian Garcia.

Ibrox wanted to sign the 20-year-old player, according to a report from Football Scotland on June 5th. It is likely that Nils Koppen had talks to sign him in Cancun.

But if Gers still want to sign him this summer, things will be harder because Dario Alberti says he will sign a new deal that lasts until 2026.

The reporter for Sport 890 said that they would add a £7.7 million release clause to the deal to protect their own interests.

In a tweet, Alberti said, “Tomorrow, Damián García’s contract with Peñarol will be renewed until December 2026.” Their pay will go up, and they can leave for a US$10,000,000 fee. It was over for Ruglio and Lasalvia on their trip to Mexico.

Rangers aren’t likely to spend a lot of money on Damian Garcia.

Garcia is only 20 years old, so he hasn’t shown much talent yet, especially outside of Uruguay.

He has shown promise in his home country, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be able to do the same in a more competitive league like the Scottish Premiership.

Garcia has also not yet made a big name for himself on the international stage.

Even though he played well in the under-20 World Cup, the demands of senior club football are very different from playing youth international football.

Rangers would be taking a big risk by putting that much money into a player who hasn’t played much yet.

Trying to get Damian Garcia doesn’t fit with the Rangers’ plan for making transfers.

Gers should instead focus on talented people who have already been around for a while.

The club doesn’t have a lot of money to spend on transfers, and it would be a waste to spend a lot of it on a player who is still learning the game.

There are probably cheaper options that can help the first team right away.

One more thing that needs to be thought about is Philippe Clement’s suggestions. If he can’t take the club to the next level, he will be held accountable.

Ibrox view: Rangers are getting close to deciding whether to bring back Abdallah Sima, and Brighton is about to set a record-setting goal score

Since Brighton is about to hire a new manager, Abdallah Sima will soon know if his future includes going back to Rangers.

The Senegalese forward was a great addition to Glasgow’s team last season. He scored 16 goals across all competitions while mostly playing off the left wing, even though he was hurt for three months from January to April.

That return is a big part of how many goals Michael Beale and Philippe Clement scored last season, which makes a deal to keep him at Ibrox appealing if it works out financially.

There have been several public statements by Sima saying that he would like to stay at Rangers if an agreement can be reached between the two clubs.

Rangers Review said on June 6 that he probably wouldn’t be told about his future until Brighton hired a new manager. They fired Roberto De Zerbi at the end of the season, and now they’re about to do that.

Fabian Hurzeler will take over for Roberto De Zerbi at the Amex

Sky Sports reported on June 9 that the Seagulls had gotten Fabian Hurzeler, the manager of St. Pauli, a work permit. If he takes over at the Amex, the 31-year-old will become the youngest Premier League manager ever.

After a day, Fabrizio Romano said that the German is likely to sign a deal down south in the next 48 hours, while talks on a compensation deal for the record-breaking move continue.

It’s clear that what Hurzeler plans to do with Sima will have a big impact on the 22-year-old’s future. If the coach doesn’t see him in the plans for next season, it would make it more likely that he comes back to the Rangers.

The wide player hasn’t played for his parent club yet because he moved to the Light Blues after loans at Stoke City and Angers.

Derek Ferguson of Ibrox News, on the other hand, isn’t sure if the club can afford to sign Sima to a permanent deal because he thinks it would cost eight figures.

Rangers winger Oscar Cortes

Rangers have also brought back fellow loanee Oscar Cortes.

It would cost a lot to sign Rangers for good.

Because they bought him for £6 million from Slavia Prague in 2021, the Seagulls probably won’t want to let him go for free. However, The Athletic reported at the time of the original deal that there was thought to be an option for an extra year.

If Hurzeler doesn’t think Sima is ready to play in the Premier League, and the player has made it clear that he feels at home at Rangers, Brighton could choose to exercise his contract option and let him come back on a second loan deal, unless they get a better offer from somewhere else.

As a result, the English club is almost certain to get a new manager, which will be a big step towards Sima finding out where he will play next season.
