Shaw is set to quit Manchester United after being offered mega-money for his injuries. Saudi swan song

LUKE SHAW is set to leave Manchester United, and the injured star might be gone by January.
England’s left-back Shaw, 30, is aware of considerable interest from Saudi teams and is willing to listen to proposals.
Despite having two years left on his contract at Old Trafford, he is concerned that his career with the Red Devils may be coming to an end.
Shaw appeared in only 12 games last season after missing the first three months due to a calf injury, and he will have few opportunities this season.
In May’s 1-0 Euro League final defeat to Tottenham, he started as part of a back-three due to a lack of center-backs.
Shaw is expected to fall behind Patrick Dorgu in the left-back position, while Ruben Amorim is optimistic about new signing Diego Leon, who joined from Cerro Porteno for £3.3 million.
The physically imposing 18-year-old played the first half of last weekend’s 0-0 friendly match with Leeds in Sweden, and Amorim praised his performance. He’s learning, he’s powerful, and he’s going to be an excellent player.”
Diogo Dalot has been a regular starter at left wing back in the United manager’s preferred 3-4-2-1 formation.
Shaw is part of United’s pre-season tour of the USA, which includes a match against West Ham on Sunday and a match against Leeds. However, he anticipates being a part of the squad once the Premier League season starts next month.

Shaw later revealed that surgeons discussed amputation due to blood clots detected following the incident.
After an 11-month layoff, he had missed nearly five years of his United and England career due to various issues.
Shaw is seen as a popular and prominent character in the dressing room, and Amorim is in no hurry to let him go or his £150,000-a-week salary.
However, the player is motivated to make up for lost time and is aware that he will have to make a difficult decision about his future in the months ahead.
If he decides to leave, United will find it tough to negotiate a fee given all of his injuries and lack of appearances – only 27 in the last two seasons.
Meanwhile, Amorim is not willing to break the bank for a new No. 9.
Fans hoped Alexander Isak’s decision to leave Newcastle would push United to bid.
United’s spending on Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo this summer exceeds £130 million, limiting their ability to expand without big exits.

United cannot afford to take risks, allowing Rasmus Hojlund to make a name for himself in the Premier League Summer Series against West Ham, Bournemouth, and Everton.
On Thursday night, Aston Villa dismissed suggestions United had suggested an ambitious swap deal, offering rebel Alejandro Garnacho in exchange for England attacker Ollie Watkins.
