SUPERSTART: Ally McCoist, a Rangers legend, says he started the Euros “in style,” not by going out to a party with Scotland fans in Germany

Fans of the football star were also told about some of his own plans for each day of the Euros.

People might have thought that Ally McCoist, who is always up for a good time, was right there with the Tartan Army as they sang in the streets of Munich.

The Ranger hero, on the other hand, was singing along to something else.

A lot of Scotland fans lined the streets of the city yesterday, when thousands of people arrived in Bavaria. They drank all the beer in one pub in just a few hours.

Jeff Stelling, a big name on Sky Sports, even joined in at one point, when the Euro 2024 party really got going.

McCoist, who is 61 years old, was at the Olympiastadion in Berlin to watch his favourite band play.

Who is it? Do not think it is Whigfield…

It is, in fact, rock legends AC/DC.

When McCoist heard the hit song “Hells Bells” over the PA system while he was on duty as a commentator last year, he was seen doing his best air guitar impression.

McCoist has never been afraid to show how much he loves the Scots-Aussie rockers. The video went viral.

The musician who used to play striker was amazed by their show last night, which was part of their 50th anniversary tour.

In a video that he shared on Twitter (X), Super Ally told his fans a little about the gig.

He wrote in the video’s description, “I’m in Germany for the @euro2024 and really excited about this tournament; it’s going to be great.”

“Last night I went to watch @acdc and they were amazing!”

In his interview with the camera, the football star said, “Good morning, guys. I hope you’re all doing well.”

“I got here late last night and got things going in style.

“I saw AC/DC.” That’s right, AC/DC.

“They were truly unbelievable. “They were great.”

Super then told his fans that he was going to make a video diary every day of the tournament.

He told her, “I’m going to make a little montage diary of the tournament this year.”

“If not every day, then every two days, I hope to post something.” But I hope every day.

“Make sure you tune in for the first show.

“Some video from last night’s concert at the Olympic Stadium in Munich will be in it.” Yes, AC/DC.

Rangers told James Tavernier that he was “one to watch” as they talked about a possible summer transfer for Al-Ettifaq

Barry Ferguson has said that Rangers fans should keep an eye on the futures of James Tavernier and Connor Goldson during the summer transfer window.

Both English players have been linked with moves to the Saudi Pro League for the summer. Reports say Steven Gerrard wants to bring them back together by signing them to Al-Ettifaq [Daily Record, 24 April].

It’s thought that no official bids have been made yet, but Ferguson, a radio host on Go Radio, has said that rumours have grown over the last few days and asked fans to keep an eye on things.

He said on The Go Radio Football Show (13 June, 40:00): “It’s been talked about for over a year, and things have gotten stronger in the last few weeks.”

“That will be interesting to see; both have two years left on good contracts, so that is one to keep an eye on.”

How much will Philippe Clement and Rangers be willing to sell Connor Goldson this summer?

According to Ferguson, rumours about Tavernier and Goldson’s future are not new. Both players have been linked with moves away from Glasgow for a long time, even before Philippe Clement took over at Ibrox.

That anger has grown even stronger because of how badly the two played in the second half of the season. Tavernier was criticised by experts, and Goldson was even dropped from the team before he got hurt.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement is expected to make several changes this summer

Neither player will leave until a real offer is made for them, but it doesn’t look like the Light Blues would be desperate to keep them this summer. If the price they want is paid, both could leave.

In the end, it doesn’t look like either of these players will be leaving this summer, but anything can happen during the summer window. Ferguson says that this might be one to keep an eye on.

Ryan Kent is about to be transferred to former Ibrox manager, with Jose Mourinho who drops a heavy bombshell on him

Last year, the Rangers champion moved to Turkey.

It is said that Jose Mourinho cruelly left out Ryan Kent, a fan favourite at Rangers, from his Fenerbahce team.

The famous manager is now in Turkey. He has been in charge of Chelsea, Manchester United, and other teams, most recently Roma. Following the end of his contract with Rangers, Kent moved to the Istanbul giants last season. However, by the end of the season, he was no longer allowed to play for them in the Super Lig.

He has played 18 times and scored one goal and set up two others. A new manager can be a fresh start, but Mourinho is not said to be impressed because he turned down a chance to go on loan in January and then didn’t play much in the second half of last season.

According to Haberturk, the Portuguese manager “totally wrote off Kent because of how he behaved last season.” They say the manager is thought to have said, “I don’t want to work with a player like that who doesn’t go on loan and doesn’t play here for six months.”

Kent might be able to choose to stay in Turkey. They say that Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who was previously the manager of Rangers, wants to sign him for Beskitas, a team in the same Super Lig league as Rangers.

They worked together at Rangers when they were both there. Kent is said to have agreed to sign with Beşiktaş “in the coming days” after meeting with van Bronckhorst. Mourinho will make the final call, but it looks like Kent won’t be playing for him again.

In 2018, Kent joined Rangers on loan from Liverpool. After the deal was made official, he went on to win the Premiership and the Scottish Cup while playing for Glasgow. He was also a key part of their run to the 2022 Europa League final.

Rangers to complete signing of speedster

Rangers have moved quickly to rebuild Philippe Clement’s team, which is what they need in the front line.

Speed is something that comes up a lot when talking about the players that Nils Koppen has been in talks with more than one club about.

From one quick tip to the next, Chris Jack says the Rangers might be about to make their fourth new signing.

Rangers’ transfer plan is taking shape, and Yusuf Kadabayi is on the way.

The manager told everyone in January what kind of player he wants, and he quickly added Oscar Cortes and Mohamed Diomande to his plans for the future.

Even though money is tight, there are ways to deal with it:

“I know our club isn’t the richest in the world.” We want to make transfers that will help us now and also add value to the team over the next two years so that we can sell them for more money.

„This is something that the club has missed over the last two years. They didn’t send out any large amounts of money, so they weren’t getting money in to do other things.

“That’s one of the goals. It’s weird for a manager to say that, but I want to help the club grow in every way.”

The latest player to meet Rangers’ new signing rules is Kabadayi.

This was the first thing that Jefte did. He made it possible for Clinton Nsiala to follow. Yusuf Kabadayi could be next on the list.

The German Under-20 player is known for how fast he is and can play anywhere in the front three.

The 20-year-old is right-footed, but like most players these days, he likes to play off the left wing.

Like Cortes, he can move with either foot, which makes him very difficult for opponents to beat.

When writing in The Rangers Review, Jack said that Kabadayi was “in line” to finish his move from Bayern Munich.

So far, everyone who has been signed (except Leon Balogun) is 20 years old. This includes Kabadayi.

The manager always does what he says he will do.

Rangers will have an easy time during the transfer window getting good young players to join.

The recruitment director of the club finds it easy to get people to sign up because of the chance to play regular senior football, play in the Champions League, and win trophies.

The players who are likely to get the lockers of those who quit at the end of their contracts all have one thing in common: they are cheap.

It’s been easy to work with Fluminense. It is said that Jefte costs about £800,000, that Nsiala comes for a development fee, and that Kabadayi wants between £1 and £1.5 million.

Three players—a left back, a centre back, and a winger—for less than £2 million. Cortes’ fee will not be paid until next summer.

Rangers have been smarter about who they hire so far. Once they’re in, it will be up to the manager to turn them from potential title winners.
