The “money-losingest exhibition in tennis history”—a reporter points to Six Kings Slam tickets that haven’t been sold after the huge prize money was revealed

Ben Rothenberg, a tennis writer, said that the Six Kings Slam performance in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was the least successful event because it had a lot of prize money and no one bought seats. Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev, and Holger Rune were just a few of the famous people who attended the event.

The prize for winning the event is $6 million, and everyone who takes part will get at least $1.5 million. The event has high-quality staging and got a lot of attention.

Rothenberg did say, though, that one of the ticket sites says that some places for the final are still open. He went to X and posted a picture of the tickets that hadn’t been sold.

“This company (ViaGogo) still has more than 100 tickets for the Six Kings final… The winner will get at least $1.5 million, and there are no big TV deals to balance out the cost of the promotion. This could be the most expensive exo in tennis history.

From October 16th to October 19th, the event is set to happen. Jannik Sinner beat Daniil Medvedev in the semifinals, and Carlos Alcaraz beat Holger Rune.

Six Kings Slam has some exciting SF matches, like Jannik Sinner vs. Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz vs. Rafael Nadal.

Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal got to go straight to the semifinals of the Six Kings Slam. Their attention was on the winner of the two semifinals that were played on October 16, the first day of the event.

With wins of 6-0 and 6-3, Jannik Sinner beat Daniil Medvedev and will now play Djokovic in the semifinals. They played each other just a few days ago in the final of the Shanghai Masters. The Italian won an impressive 7-6(4), 6-3. They’ve played each other eight times, and the score is tied 4-4 in those eight games.

Carl Alcaraz beat Holger Rune 6-4, 6-2 in the other knockout, which was a very good performance. He even played on the court with Brazilian football star Neymar after the win. Neymar currently plays for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.

It will be Alcaraz vs. his hero Nadal in the finals. The two Spanish players have played each other three times on tour, with Nadal winning all three matches.

The second rounds will both happen on Thursday, October 17. On October 19, the third-place match and final of the Six Kings Slam will happen.
