The mother of Hailie Deegan shares a rare photo from her very first Super Bowl viewing

Hailie Deegan’s mother, Marissa, took to Instagram on February 9th to share a story about the Deegan family watching the 2025 Super Bowl. Marissa Deegan’s caption stated that she was watching the Marquee NFL event for the first time ever.

Marissa Deegan is the wife of motocross legend Brian Deegan and the mother of Haiden and Hailie Deegan. Marissa posted a photo of the entire family lounging on the couch while the Super Bowl played on TV. Brian, Marissa, Haiden, and Hudson Deegan were all in the photo.

However, Hailie was not in the picture. Marissa wore a black t-shirt and bottoms, while Brian was dressed entirely in navy. Hailie’s mother shared the photo on Instagram with the caption:

“Watching my first Super Bowl game. House of Boys”

The 59th Super Bowl took place in 2025, with the Kansas City Chiefs facing the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs entered the match as defending champions, hoping to complete a three-peat.

Unfortunately, the Eagles won thanks to a dominant first half and a solid second half. The match was held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, and the Eagles won 40-22.

Hailie Deegan will compete in the Indy NXT championship in 2025, following her announcement last year that she would be leaving stock car racing behind. Deegan made her open-wheel racing debut in the second half of 2024, driving the Toney Development Driver team’s FR car in the last two races.

Since the announcement, Hailie Deegan has been putting in long hours at the track in the FR car.

Hailie Deegan is “having a blast” as she prepares for her Indy NXT debut.

Hailie Deegan has signed with HMD Motorsport for the 2025 Indy NXT season. The two have participated in a few tests on the Indy NXT machine. Even during the off-season, Deegan continued to practise on the track. Deegan described his experience behind the wheel as follows:

“Yeah, it’s been a lot of fun; I’ve really enjoyed it. With all of the testing and seat time, I feel like I’ve learnt a lot, and there’s still so much more to learn. But for me, I’ve been having a great time trying new things.”

Deegan will make her Indy NXT debut at the Saint Petersburg Grand Prix on March 2nd. Sophia Floersch also signed with HMD Motorsports to drive in the Indy NXT series for the 2025 season.
