Angel Reese, a Chicago Sky forward, has had another outstanding season in the 2025 WNBA.
After making the All-Star and All-Rookie teams as a rookie, averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds, she has elevated her game to new heights in her second season.
She averages 12.4 points and 12.6 rebounds per game, but her assist total has increased from 1.9 to 3.8 per game in 2025. Reese has already set numerous franchise and WNBA records in the first 16 games of the season.

WNBA fans were surprised to learn that Reese, the league’s rebounding leader, was not an All-Star starter. Several people responded, expressing their displeasure with the news.
“League about to piss me off, where’s Angel Reese?” a fan asked.
“No, Angel Reese is insane,” another person added. “I’m sure a coach will name her as a reserve, but the hate by ‘fans’ is out of control.”
“Sheesh, no Angel Reese, kinda crazy ngl,” one fan commented.
“The ONLY player in the WNBA averaging a double-double is NOT a Starter in the #2025WNBAAllStarGame,” a fan pointed out.
“No Angel Reese is a (expletive) joke,” another said.
“They can’t be (expletive) right nowπ,” one admirer said. “No Angel Reese is a criminal. “They’ll respect my girl no matter what π€.”
The 2025 WNBA All-Star game will be played on July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Fever.
Chicago returns to action on Sunday against the 14-2 Minnesota Lynx. Tip-off is set at 7:00 p.m. ET at Minneapolis’ Target Centre.
