Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf’s daughter Jaz gives an unexpected perspective while her father breaks down his most memorable looks

Andre Agassi, an American tennis legend, established his career with his dominant style of play. Additionally, the 54-year-old also created headlines owing to his unusual on-court dress sense and recently offered his favourite three selections among those. Jaz Elle Agassi, the daughter of Agassi and Steffi Graf, later expressed her own thoughts on the matter.

The American’s distinctive acid-wash denim shorts from the 1988 US Open, his characteristic bandanas, and his iconic lime green attire from 1990 all helped to shape his distinct personality. Moreover, Agassi made waves during his partnership with the apparel giant, Nike.

In a recent social media video, the 54-year-old shared his top three court attire. Agassi ranked his outfit from the 1995 Australian Open at number three.

“Top three favourite looks in my career: 1995 Australian Open, it’s kind of referred to as the” Pirate Look. “Baggy shorts, baggy shirt, bandana, hoop earrings, goatee, it was Pirates of the Caribbean-style stuff,” Agassi explained.

The former World No. 1 later discussed his denim shorts, known as “jorts,” which he famously wore in the 1988 US Open.

Finally, Agassi handed the top rank to his flamboyant “hot lava” spandex and denim shorts suit. He said that the French Tennis Federation attempted to impose a clothing code on players at the time, which he found unacceptable. The former World No. 1 remembers criticising the authorities during his news conference at the time.

“Number one, most likely the hot lava spandex under the denim shorts. That item is very awesome, especially with the matching shoes. At the time, the president of the French Federation was considering implementing a clothing code. You know, I did what any decent person would do: I called him a bozo during the press conference. That was a little bit unfortunate but it was an honest reaction to somebody telling you what I had to wear,” he remarked.

Agassi’s daughter Jaz, who has been active on social media recently, particularly through Instagram stories, responded to the video in the comments.

“My favourite outfit is the one your wearing in this video,” she texted.

Jaz did not follow in her parents’ footsteps and did not pursue tennis as a career. Instead, she took up horseback riding and dance.

Andre Agassi is recognised as one of history’s best tennis players. The American superstar won 60 tour-level trophies, including eight Grand Slams. He also achieved a career super slam by winning all four Grand Slam titles, an Olympic medal, and an ATP final in the same year.

Jaz, his daughter, routinely praises her father’s legacy, lately highlighting his work successes as a ‘baldie’ on Instagram.

Jaz witnessed Andre Agassi’s anticipated return to the court with Aryna Sabalenka in a Las Vegas exhibition game. The American returned triumphantly, defeating Naomi Osaka and Mardy Fish in a one-set tie-break.

Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi’s son Jaden takes up the paddle to grab the attention during his father’s pickleball event

Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi’s son Jaden took part in the inaugural Agassi Open Play Day to commemorate National Pickleball Month. The eight-time Grand Slam winner hosted the tournament on Saturday, April 12, at Life Time Green Valley in Las Vegas.

Agassi joined other registered competitors for the event’s simultaneous play on the court. Guests included Jack Loughridge, an 11-year-old pickleball player, and Maroon 5 guitarist and vocalist James Valentine.

Ryan Sherry, professional pickleball player and CEO of Life Time, posted a few highlights from the occasion on his Instagram account. In one of the photos, he was seen posing at the net alongside Jaden Agassi. The photo also included a note to Jaden Agassi, who had joined up with Sherry for a doubles match.

“Agassi/Sherry make their doubles debut today to celebrate National Pickleball Month @lifetimepickleball! Keep up the excellent work, @jadenagassi, and I’ll probably put my thinking cap on and get you a paddle sponsor @agassi @joolapickleball @stephanigrafhq @legacyprosports. ”

Jaden Agassi is a professional baseball player who also supports his parents’ pickleball career. The 23-year-old pitcher from the MLB Draft League’s Mahoning Valley Scrapers was named Pitcher of the Week from July 1-7, 2024.

Steffi Graf, a 22-time Grand Slam champion, and Andre Agassi’s son Jaden threw for Team Germany in the 2025 World Baseball Classic qualifiers in Tucson in early March. Team Germany fell to Team Brazil, who won the one-game playoff and advanced to the main competition of the WBC.

In a March 1 interview with News 4 Tucson, Jaden Agassi expressed gratitude to his parents for their support in his athletic endeavours.

“They’ve been really supportive since I was little, and they’re quite casual. They grew up with strict parents who pushed them really hard, therefore I believe they adopted the opposite approach with me and have never missed a game. They like watching, but they’re never too harsh on me,” he explained [at 0:46].

He noted that, while his parents’ legacy is in a different sport, their guidance as sportsmen helped him improve.

“Getting out there and getting 1% better everyday has been and is still with me through them since I was a little kid.”

The World Baseball Classic, which is held every three years, will return in 2026 to four host cities: Houston, Miami, Tokyo, and Puerto Rico.
