The honors to the great NFL receiver Randy Moss keep coming in.

Moss was honored on Saturday before the New England Patriots played the Los Angeles Chargers. He told the world in early December that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

During the warmup announcements, the Patriots players ran out to the field while following a staff member holding a flag that said “Moss” and had his four-year New England jersey number written on both sides. The Patriots also showed a film tribute to Moss on the big screen before the game.

Moss was very grateful for the kind act.

On Facebook, he wrote, “It’s the BIG crybaby here.” “I want to thank everyone for this! There’s always love in the air.

On December 13, Moss said that he had just been told he has cancer between his stomach and liver. A hospital in the Charlotte area did a lot of work on him, and he was there for six days. Moss told people on an Instagram Live stream that he needs to go through chemotherapy and radiation treatments but that he hopes to be back on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown soon.

The Minnesota Vikings also gave Moss an award soon after he made the news. Cris Carter and Jake Reed, who used to play for the Vikings together, held up a No. 84 Moss shirt for the coin toss before a game at U.S. Bank Stadium against the Chicago Bears. After Moss scored a touchdown that night, star receiver Justin Jefferson also yelled at him.
