THE WARNING derives its fortitude and power from a lifetime of music and sisterhood. The sister trio from Mexico, consisting of Daniela “Dany” (guitar, lead vocals, piano), Paulina “Pau” (drums, vocals, piano), and Alejandra “Ale” Villarreal (bass, piano, backup vocals), have travelled thousands of miles, generated hundreds of millions of streams, and left innumerable admirers in astonishment. Their sound has been shaped and sharpened with knifepoint precision as a result of their relentless work and dedication, which have armed alternative anthems with universally catchy melodies and an uncompromising hard rock drive. Since their childhood in Monterrey, Mexico, the sisters have dedicated themselves to a shared ambition. They initially gained attention with a series of independent releases, which paved the way for their critically acclaimed 2022 full-length album, “Error.” The band electrified MTV’s Extended Play Stage at the 2023 MTV VMAs by performing alongside MUSE, FOO FIGHTERS, GUNS N’ ROSES, ROYAL BLOOD, THE PRETTY RECKLESS, THREE DAYS GRACE, and IMAGINE DRAGONS. Pepsi even selected them as the face of Pepsi Black in Mexico, which is a testament to their cultural influence. In addition, they became the uncommon entity that could effortlessly appear in features published by Vanity Fair, People, Cosmopolitan, and Glamour, as well as on METALLICA’s star-studded “Blacklist” compilation. Their rendition of “Enter Sandman” (featuring Alessia Cara) was placed in the same category as contributions from GHOST, St. Vincent, Chris Stapleton, IDLES, and WEEZER. The 2024 full-length album “Keep Me Fed” (Lava/Republic Records) marked THE WARNING’s acceptance of its fate. The album was preceded by the singles “More,” “S!ck,” “Hell You Call A Dream,” “Qué Más Quieres,” “Automatic Sun,” and “Burnout.” In 2024, they maintained their global influence by receiving nominations and performing at the Latin Grammys for “Best Rock Song” and MTV’s EMAs for “Push Artist.” THE WARNING was also nominated for “Push Performance” at MTV’s VMAs and performed on France’s “Taratata.”
